K Im sure this is posted somewhere but I still feel conflicting info..Im staying on site so is it 90 days or 90+10 days ???

TIA

It is. When gathering information about this, always try to read the first post there. The most up to date information is there, as well as many FAQ's. :goodvibes

What is a "grand gathering"?

We always travel as a "grand gathering." There are 11 of us that always travel together (my family of 5, my sister's family of 4 and our parents). We book as a grand gathering to insure that the resort tries their best to get our rooms together. Usually they are side by side and two of the three rooms are connecting. Due to the extra costs involved, we have never booked any of the "experiences". WDW told us on the first trip we ever booked to always ask for a GG even if we knew we wouldn't need the extras involved to get the rooms together. They aren't guaranteed to be adjacent to each other but in our experience they are always side by side.

Will holiday meals be really difficult to book? I think they may be very diffiuclt...

How hard is it going to be to book Thanksgiving dinner? We arrive on the Tuesday and I plan to call at 7-months out on the 90th day...I will book Thursday first then go back to book the other meals...We want the WCC aound 5:00 for 8 people...Will we have a big problem? I am thinking yes...But we will have to wait and see.

I was able to book Ohana's and Beingarten (sp). for 4/11 and 4/12! I was very excited. It is more than 90 days out. I wasn't able to book any more that week though.
We are checking in on the 11th.

You know, I think you've got better odds of winning the lottery than of getting a consistent response from the dining reservations CMs just at the moment. Looks like you were given a straight 100 days window, instead of +10 from your arrival date.

If I remember correctly T-Rex opens up it's advance bookings this week. As we book with them direct rather than via Disney do you know if they will also be working to a 90 day window? Or might they still be 180?
Thanks!

Concerning restaurants on the dining plan, are they all set in stone now? or are there still a few that "just haven't signed the contract yet"? We're wanting to finalize our reservations for March, but wanted to know all of our options before doing so.
Thanks in advance for your help!

I hope there is someone out there who is REALLY smart on this dining ADR stuff.
I'm getting concerned becuase of the 90 day window, at first I was ok, whatever, maybe there will be less booking and changing.
However, I now realize that 180 put me making my ADR's before free dining opened to the public or to Disney visa holders (we have booked the past two years bounceback for free dining during free dining) Now we will be making them after that, which I saw as a perk since I made my commitment to disney well in advance.
Hey I love seeing everyone get a great deal, but now I'm like UGH. This is a double bad because we are forced to make two ressies because you cant add someone to a ressie (DD & DH coming down a few days later) so will I also loose my days on the 90 plus 10 and will have to call back again at the begining of the second ressie or will they let me book the plus 10 even if it's under a different ressie that is not 90 days out? Last yr I was told I had to call back, but It was only a day or two more, and I was booking before public free dining was announced, so I didn't push it. This year it is 5 and as many know, ressies are tuff to get during free dining. Help from anyone who can follow this is appreciated :confused3

I'm with you on this one. I felt that I could get an ADR for Cindy's in Sept because I'd be making said ADR in March. Now that I have to wait till June (after free dining is announced and booked) I probably don't stand a chance. It makes it even worse that the only day we are going to MK is the first day of our trip & people who book the week (or 10 days) before me will already be booking on the day I plan to go.

I don't think I'll have trouble with most of my ADR's but Cindy's sure seems like a stretch now.

Don't think like that. A lot of people get the bounceback free dining and most people don't go to CRT every visit. Especially if they're on the basic dining plan and it's two credits.

I've always been able to get CRT when we wanted to dine there.

Just call on your 90 day, I bet you it will be available for you.

Thanks for the link! I was wondering about this. I'm glad to see the Epcot CSs have signed on. :woohoo: Now if I could just make my June ADR's. It's killing me to be in the old 180 day window, but not yet at 90 days.

I just got off the phone with WDW and was told we can only book our ADR's 90 days from our trip now. WOW!! Can anybody confirm that??

Yes - that's correct. Check out the sticky at the top of this board for more details. ;)

I'm curious on this as well. When will they start taking reservations anyway?

4/11? WOW! Wonder if I should call? We aren't checking in until the 3rd so I was waiting. Anyone else had success so early?:confused3

Thanks for the pixie dust. You might be right. I'll make a plan B just in case.
