Anybody else FREAKING OUT b/c the May park hours still aren't up yet???!!! :confused3 I'd really like to know park hours, EMH, etc, before I book ADR's. Does this mean those of us going in early May are just going to have to guess where the best park to have dinner each night will be? --Katie

YES I am soooo freaking out!! It is SO annoying when I have planning to do! I emailed them Nov 2nd to ask when the dates would be released, and they told me "a few days". They do NOT understand the word "few"!!!! I have already made my Chef Mickey ADR, so whatever the calendar shows now I am going to have to pretty much stick to my draft plans.

I'm with you this waiting is ridiculous !! Now you can make ressies for early May burt don't knowthe hours ! Well actually Dec 1st is the window sooo maybe that's the date the calendar will be up!!

Same here. I'm May 17th and I just wanna be able to work out my dining schedule around the parks!

I am not too worried about my ADR's based on the actual park hours. We have been in May a few times now and the park hours and EMH really don't change that much at all. We have planned what park we are visiting on what day and what restaurant we want to eat at. No park hopper for us.

We are arriving 05/04 so I will definitely be calling on 12/01. :thumbsup2

Unless it's EMH times for MK, we actually avoid EMH days!!! But still, we need to schedule our ressies around these as well.... No park hoppers for us!

Yeah, we usually only worry about AM EMH for MK and EP. Which have always been Thursday and Tuesday in May respectively. Other than that, we don't really care if we hit em or miss em.;)

Just got back in town (from a short weekend away) and wow, I'm stunned! I wasn't expecting Dec. 1 - if that's the case!! I'll be watching closely and hoping the May hours come out this week! I'd be glad to do my ADR"s on the 1st and have them done before the holiday rush.

I finally decided to add park hopper so I didn't have to worry as much. Now we can go where ever we want to for dinner! It was only $107 more for the two of us for 8 days. If I'm spending this much, might as well spend that much more. :confused3 :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

You'll be glad to have the park hopper! Have a great trip!:)

We do have park hoppers, so maybe I should stop freaking out so much!! I am happy about the december 1st date. (way better than just a few days before Christmas!). I emailed Disney about the park hours today, so I'll update with whatever info they give me when they email me back.:surfweb: --Katie

Ok so if my dates are May3-12 can I still call and book on Dec 1st?

This is great because that day I'm off WOO HOO!!!

Thank you Tricia...hmm wonder when I can book our last 2 days then lol.

HEY I just remembered..that was when the DVC lady told me to call..She told me Dec 1st too!

So can someone clarify this for me? If the newest information is true, and we travel May 4-16, does this mean we can book our ADRs for our entire trip (since the usual policy is 180 + 10)? Or would we just book through the 10th? The quote from the Mom's Panel participant confused me because it says up to May 10 ARRIVALS. Again, it used to be 180 + 10 from arrival day, so I wasn't sure how this will work. Thanks!

good question and the one I wanted to ask as well. Anyone know the answer to this?

We are visiting WDW 05/4-05/14. How the "rumor" is worded, I should be able to make all my ressies as it states arrivals before 05/10. Our dates are well within the 180 days now.

The rumor is worded poorly.

For every other time that they have done this they are absolute in their cutoff dates. The current example would be those that are traveling 3/20 - 3/28. They are able to make their reservations for 3/21 - 3/22 only and those travelers are currently looking forward to the new window opening up because they will be able to make reservations for 3/23 - 3/28.

So to answer your questions - no you won't be able to make reservations past 5/10 when they open this window. I am not saying don't ask, just preparing you for the fact that you will likely have to wait.

I'll just have to call at 12 noon Orlando time. :) My boss wouldn't be too happy if I asked to make an international call from work to make my dining ressies.
