What do I need to have to call and make reservations? I made all my reservations through Southwest vacations rather than disney so I'm not sure if my reservation number is the same as one that I would get from disney. What do you think? Do I need a reservation number from Disney to reserve dining times? In which case I would just wait to get our documents and call then(about a month out)- I only have a few reservations to make.

I booked through CAA and my agent there gave me what she called a "booking number". I was afraid I'd get on the phone on my 90 day and that number wouldn't work so I called in ahead of time just to check it in their system. I first called when the new reservation system was just starting and the waits were horrendous and waited and waited. I hung up and called main reservations and they could not see my number but said not to worry that Dining had all numbers from all agents etc. I still called in another day to check and dining did indeed have the number given by my CAA agent. If you're worried just call and see if they have that number in their system.
