As I stated, I'm not expecting, nor will I be disappointed. I am so hard to surprise (because I'm so dang observant) that I truly try not to ruin it by seeking out info.
I do, however, have anxiety and learning about other experiences would be more helpful for me to mentally prepare if it does happen.
If not, he's still my boyfriend that I love and I'm on an awesome Disney vacation! Still win-win to me lol
A cruise is a wonderful place to propose, but I think it's a dangerous thing to do. I mean, what if you say no? He's stuck in the same stateroom with you. I'm only saying this, because if he's thought of it, he may not propose there. He may just want to do a cruise with you. That doesn't mean your proposal isn't coming. In fact, you may be engaged by the time of the cruise. He may want to do it on your 1 year anniversary. But if he doesn't, as you said, it doesn't matter.
Also, you could propose to him, right? Pick a nice spot on the last night of the cruise (in case he says no) and go for it.
Oh, that sounds amazing! If you ever figure out how to post the video, or link to a YouTube of it, I would so watch that!!! Disney does not do anything by half!My son proposed to his now fiancee on the Fantasy October of 2014. He had it planned for formal night in the Royal Court Dining Room. We met with Special Events cordinator (Alm I believe) and the pastry Chef during the day, gave them the ring and a glass slipper. We had dinner, dessert was when the wait staff brought out everyone's but hers. Our server Dejean came out with a covered dish for her, my son got up and got down on one knee as she uncovered her dish, the ring had been placed on a strawberry decorated as a tuxedo sitting on the glass slipper.
If I new how to attach the video, I would.
Im going on the EBPC this fall and I will be going with my boyfriend. He's been particularly adamant about going on the cruise (no matter our financial situation). I know he wants to marry me someday AND I've told him no proposals until after a year of dating ... And this cruise is less than 1 month after our year dating anniversary.
Because of all that, I'm wondering if he will be proposing. I won't be disappointed if he doesn't, I'm just wondering ^_^
So then, have any of you experienced a proposal onboard a Disney Cruise?
Would you mind sharing your experience?
Thank you![]()
