Add'l Question on e-rides and old park hoppers

I understand that I might have to go to Guest Relations at the park to convert my old park hopper...but what I would like to know is: will I be able to purchase the e-ride ticket at my resort by showing my old park hopper? Will they be able to confirm that I do indeed have 1 day left on it?

If your park hopper was purchased anytime after 1996 and has the magnetic strip on the back, you don't have to exchange it.

Yes to both your questions: you can get an E-Night ticket with it and the resort can scan the ticket to tell you what remains on it.

That is assuming the OP is staying onsite and has used that ticket that day at one of the major parks.

Thank you for the info. I will be staying on site and will be sure to use that park hopper on the day of the E-ride night.
