My favorite part of the Passholder email was the term they used for all of the emails and calls they got from justifiably IRATE Passholders-"CANDID FEEDBACK"!LOL![]()

mesaboy2 said:I'll add one. How about the assurance that when you go to the trouble of making plans to go there, that you'll actually be able to see FLE while open? Everything between now and November 19 is in soft-open status, with much of that period closed for exclusive access by various groups. As much as I trust someone like Berlioz to provide accurate info, there is still the chance it won't be open--and I bet she'd be the first to agree she doesn't make those decisions.
So, while the "exclusive" access and potential tour of BOG and maybe even a trinket or two is nice--it is the assurance that I'll actually see it soon that appeals most to me.
Actually, 10/12-10/19 was "unofficially" announced as dress rehearsal, open to all with but no guarantees on closures if needed.. Which isn't different from previews, since things can be closed if needed for enhancements even during previews, be it for guests, DVC, Passholders, cast, or D23. Soft open actually starts officially 11/19 until grand opening 12/6.
It was mentioned, but you had to click the FAQ link to read that vouchers were not acceptable for the preview. That leaves out so many people.
mesaboy2 said:This post is an exercise in semantics. While nothing is guaranteed, the previews are the best chance, by far, for eligible members of certain groups to see it before November 19. I'm certain that intentional closures during previews, which people have planned trips around and formally registered for, are extremely unlikely.
I see the scheduled previews as an overcrowded test for what capacity will look like for Enchanted Forest. There is a chance rides/experiences/greetings will close during this time, especially because of guest volume. People plan trips because they want to be a part of the new magic.. Disney will absolutely close attractions or experiences during soft openings, that's exactly why they hold them.
mesaboy2 said:I know what a soft open is. You seem to think a preview is the same as a soft open. I disagree.

Had a similar issue with d23 previews, and got the same email. however, this morning, just received confirmation that they fit us in! Good news. Maybe they are opening things up.

I didn't read anything in the FAQ that says vouchers are not accepted. There was a vague statement that you had to be a valid or current passholder both at the time of sign up and time of the event. While I wasn't sure how they meant that statement I certainly don't consider the fact that I have a paid in full voucher to mean that I am not a current passholder. What makes someone with an activated pass any more of a passholder than I? Maybe I missed something in the wording though. Did it actually read "vouchers would not be accepted"? Just trying to clarify.....
When I called on two separate occasions prior to the registration I was told my voucher numbers were all I needed. But we all know how valid information received from a phone CM can be... sigh.....
i just hope they handle this second roll out better than the first.. and i hope they stop people who have already signed up from signing up a second time
