adding person to ressies

Im not sure what to do. I booked restaurant ressies for our vacation for 6 people in dec. My daughter (21 yr old) is now able to get off from work and want to join us (making it 7) . When i called dinning the CM said that the restaurants are all booked up and said just show up 10 - 15 minutes early at each restaurant what are they gonna do not seat her!

I would hate to pay for my daughter only to show up at each restaurant and be told no she cannot be seated...

anyone have this same situation or advice?

Call and ask another CM. I needed to add 2 people to our LTT ressie in November and the 1st CM said there was no availability for a party of 5.
I called back and got another CM who just pulled up my ressie and changed the number of people from 3 to 5 and the computer accepted it.

We have been told to just show up with an extra person also, and have done it with no problem. Many times they will just squeeze in an extra chair at the end of a table. You can try and call back to change the amount of diners but many times your ADR time will change.

Thats exactly what happened when i called back...the times would be way too late and some were "all booked up" for that date. I am glad to hear that you were not turned away with an extra person. I am leaning towards having her come and just showing up since you didnt have too much of a problem and we dont mind squeezing.

They won't turn her away. When you check in, just tell them that you have one extra special person that decided at the last minute to join you. That you tried to get your seating changed. It won't be a problem.

My party size for ADRs went DOWN and I was able to change one reservation (Kona) but not the other (CG)...was told just to let them know when we checked in for dinner that we would be party of 6 not 9...seems too bad that I couldn't change the ressie ahead of time to free up space for a small party but that's Disney's call, I guess!
