We have days left on a 10 day pass we purchased last year. We are planning to use those day on our trip in a few weeks. Does anyone know if we can add days to those tickets since we need a few more? If we can, where can I find out how much it would cost before we leave?

Thanks in advance!

Edited to note- they are the new passes, purchased last year- 10 day park hopper with no expiration. Can I add more days to these?

If you're talking about a Parkhopper or Parkhopper Plus type pass, then you can no longer add days to that pass. The new ticketing system is called MYW (Magic Your Way) and is a combination of days, park hopper options, expiration or no expiration etc. (it's a tad bit confusing to be honest).

The best place to get all of this information is on www.mousesavers.com - lot's of detail about the current ticketing options.

I believe that what they will do is apply the remaining value (according to ticket prices when you purchased them) of the tickets towards the purchase of a new MYW ticket. The new ticket will have to also have the same extras that the original ticket had. For ex. Park hopping ,wp, no ex.

I think the only time you can actually just add days to the orig ticket is within 14 days of it's first use. Not totally positive on this so I am anxious to hear other responses on this, but that is what the CM told me on our last trip. Of course who knows if it was the Gospel truth and if I understood her correctly.

In the past they have calculated a dollar value for the days and/or features that remain on your old ticket. They would then apply a credit for that amount to your purchase of whatever new type of ticket you are buying. You would need to go to a ticket window or Concierge or guest relations at your hotel to found out what remains on your old ticket. If you have an old ticket that has options for the water parks/Disneyquest remaining on them you generally are better off retaining those than cashing them in.

Once a MYW ticket has had 10 days on it either on initial purchase or on an upgrade, you cannot add any more days to it.

Best value is to buy a new full length expiring pass, or buy a new 10 day non-expiring pass and use the remains of both passes for vacation #3.

Dollar value trade-ups tend to have a very poor exchange rate. Among other things you must purchase non-expiration on the ticket you are trading up to. If you had and used water park fun you must purchase that for the new ticket too. Any water park fun admissions remaining on the old ticket do not contribute to the dollar trade-up value and are also not carried over.

Ptslp it seems to be the general consensus that you will not be able to add days to your existing ticket but have you considered ,depending on how many extra days you need,on keeping your non-expiry tickets in reserve & just buy a MYW with hopper option to use first? This may save you some money if you don't need them to be non-expiry
