Our son is getting married in the fall and is interested in adding on 50 points to our total. It would be for his use. Can we just add it on to our total?

You can add on to your total, but you would have to make all the reservations for your son. He won't be able to call and check on things for himself, because the points will be in your name and he isn't a member.

You could add your son as an associate member so he can make reservations, but he would not be limited to just the 50 points. He could book all available points. Also you will own the points since the contract will be in your name, so he will not have any legal rights to them. So if everyone is happy with this situation, then it should work just fine.

Thanks for the info! I think he'll trust me with his points. Ultimately he and his sister will get our points eventually.

He could also pick up a small add-on on the resale market, and become a member all by himself. If you purchase from the resale market, there is no minimum.
