Okay, one last question!

We should be receiving our welcome package in the mail today. When we are filling out the official contract paper work is there a place to say add-on more points?

We initially are getting 160pts but over the weekend we decided we could afford to add some more to that.

Thanks,

Sorry, you need to call your guide and have your papers rewritten. One suggestion, think about writing 2 smaller contracts instead of one large. This helps if you ever need to sell or if you are going to gift/will them to people. Once recorded, contracts must be sold/transfered as a whole.

My understanding, and experience, is that they will not sell original contracts for less than 150 points right now. I originally thought I would buy 300 points, and asked if they could be split into three 100 size contracts. They would not do that, but I decided to buy 450.... so I still was able to get three contracts.

We have three children.

Back in 2001, we did the same thing... decided on an add-on even before the welcome pack arrived. Since we had already completed the paperwork for the first contract, we had to do it all over again. And truth-be-told, we ended up with two more add-ons down the road.

Now all we need is more vacation time off :)

We did the same thing when we originally purchased in January, 2003. We had just received the documents for our 160 points when we decided we really wanted 55 more. We were advised to sign and return the original paperwork and to do an add-on for the 55. I can't recall exactly why they didn't want to re-do the paperwork but we took the add-on route.
