Adam the Woo has been unbanned

The Woo has been able to play the YouTube algorithm like a Stradivarius for many years now. He knows how to game the system!

I like Adam and think it's great that WDW gave him another chance.

just a note ***It is offensive, rude and just plain ignorant to use A.D.H.D. as a comment when describing someone's behaviour ---perhaps you are a bit uneducated in such matters.

That is the truth. I live with it every day.

Ok sorry it has to be a second chance only if he has done the same thing before at the same place doing the same thing By the same company I could go on and on. But I refuse to live in a fantasy world where people aren't held accountable for their actions

I am not a follower of Adam the Woo, never heard of him until recently, I could care less for Adam the Woo, and I have never watched him on YouTube until after hearing about this guy, but with that I want to address what I highlighted in your post. I'm willing to bet that if I was able to follow a day in your life that more than once you have come to a "rolling"stop at a stop sign instead of a complete stop, changed lanes or turned without using a turn signal, exceeded the speed limit beyond the posted speed by at least 5 mph, gossiped about a person at work or neighbor, told a "white lie",called off sick from work when you weren't sick at all, extended your lunch hour (if not on a clock), overstated a deductible on your tax return and so on without being held accountable for your actions. So in reality, you really do live in a fantasy world where people aren't held accountable for their actions. Yours are just different than Adam the Woo. Just my opinion.

I follow him. Love his videos, especially lately. I'm glad he was un-banned! If you saw the video in which he announced he was un banned, you could tell that he was truly humbled and sorry for breaking Disney's rules.

What were once the silly & daring adventures of a young man have now become vlogs that are sometimes sweet & introspective, or informative, funny, and interesting. I don't think there's anything he doesn't know about old Hollywood! I love the videos where he visits the childhood homes of movie stars. Meh, he's not everyone's cup of tea, but I like him a lot.

Hoping I'll see him doing his videos around the park one day ("Join me...shall you?)!

I've been watching Adam's video's for awhile. I have been enjoying his daily vlog during his trip across the country. Based on some of his recent videos I honestly believe he has learned his lesson. Recently he was trying to seek out the childhood home of Dolly Parton. He came across a no trespassing sign and turned away. I think he even made a comment about not wanting to get arrested. With years comes age and wisdom. I know now at 42 I would not do the things I did at 22 or 32. Adam being the same age, I think he wouldn't do the same things either.

His passion for finding unique and odd attractions, landmarks, and places in this country is inspiring. Just watching his vlogs from his recent stay in Pigeon Forge, TN makes me now want to visit.

I have had the opportunity to meet some of the most skilled computer hackers in this country and a large majority of them do it because they want the companies to fix their products to keep the average American safe while computing. Now think out of the box - perhaps Adam's Disney trespassing opened Disney's Security eyes to how easy it was for the average guest to wander into off limits areas. It's just a thought. I thought it was nuts that Disney didn't do a better job to keep guests away from River Country.

And come to think of it...how do you actually ban someone from Disney? Do they have someone at every resort, park, water park, parking lot, restaurant, Disney Springs walking around looking for him? He could cut his hair, grow it long, grow a beard, mustache, shave, dye his hair, lose weight, gain weight, dress up as a woman....the fingerprint scanner is not tied to any central database...it's not the Police Department of CIA!

It may be primarily a mechanism that would allow the person to be arrested and prosecuted for trespassing if they are found on-property again instead of just being escorted off the premises.

Two questions:

1) Does anyone know what his name is?
2) How did he get unbanned? Did he sue? Does Disney have some sort of appellate process? Or does some guy who gets paid to make decisions like this show up at work one day and say "Screw it, Adam can come back?"
His name is Adam Williams. He didn't really go into "how" he was unbanned, or the process that led to it.

He actually did discuss how he got the ban lifted on his daily vlog channel episode 1155. He may not give every detail but it was a pretty good overview.

Search TDW 1155 on youtube and you should find it.

Yep, I saw that one. What he didn't say: Had he been in contact with them after he was banned or was he petitioning in some way to be unbanned? Did the WDW folks say WHY they unbanned him? Did they hear from enough Adam the Woo fans that they thought it would be a good idea to unban him, or was there one person in particular who was instrumental in convincing them? Maybe he just didn't want to go into all the details, that's totally understandable. Ironically, his video about being banned from WDW was my first exposure to him, and right off the bat, I didn't like him because I assumed that he was bashing Disney. I started watching the Daily Woo after that, and eventually became a regular viewer. He is very positive and has a child-like excitement that I think we need more of in this world. It flat out makes me feel good to watch his videos. A little ATW trivia: His dad also has a YouTube channel (he doesn't post daily). If you watch him, you can see where Adam gets some of his humor and mannerisms. Very sweet guy. Here is a link to his channel. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCYxi4LVdtrU1kz9nHM55LNg ...and here is a link to my channel, which is DIY / woodworking stuff, but also a lot of Disney World videos as well. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1uHbt4cwxxS3y-SZQvrtdw

Been a while since I watched that video but from what I remember he had appealed the ban himself at least once before and been denied but then he had a layer send in a appeal letter for him and that is when Disney agreed to lift the ban. So he was petitioning to be allowed back. I don't think he ever mentioned anything about fans but he did mention the layer being instrumental in his being allowed back.

I will def check out both his dads channel and yours.

Personally, I both LOVE Disney and Youtube. I have watched his videos here and there in the past because he provides me more Disney fuel to get me through my day, but personally as a youtuber, I can't stand him. I can barely make it through any of his videos without jumping around the time. But whether I actually like him or not is beside the point. I do think what he did was 100% wrong. As a former cast member, I know the cautious approach Disney takes is, in most cases, necessary. However, even though I would never go into restricted areas of anywhere, if I was putting myself in his shoes, I do think if I made bad judgments like he did, I'd want to be allowed back eventually. I'm sure he's learned his lesson, and he should be given a second chance. If he makes further mistakes, then maybe a more permanent ban would be in order.

For this who don't know how he did it he had a viewer who was an attorney who knew the dealings with trespass warnings and helped guide him through the process. The second time the attorney filed for a pardon of sorts they decided to give him a chance. That being said Adam like everything else didn't work toward getting himself back there and let someone else do the work. Been watching him for years to come to the conclusion that he is a 42 year old kid that doesn't want to earn a living and is expecting to make it big on YouTube and let everyone else pay his way for him. He recently purchased an RV and now has a device to keep his roof over his head and the ability to commute back and forth from Florida to California and to comicons in between on his journey. His content is anything but compelling anymore and USB pretty much a cheap copy of his buddy Justin Scarred. We all want welfare reform in this country and I'm curious why this ebegging is being condoned and perpetuated by people donating to his cause. It used to be "Fuel the Woo" now it's but my season pass to this and that amusement park and buy his Dunkin' Donuts coffee in the morning. The guy is a bum and shouldn't have the ability to spend day after day at Disney where as the rest of us have to work for a living pay taxes and find the time to go. He goes for free doesn't pay taxes and takes up space at the park. Down with the w00!

lol, nice first post. You must be pretty jealous to create an account here just to criticize Adam the Woo.

I think I will go and make a little donation to his patreon now.

Yes, a little harsh. If people weren't enjoying his channel, they wouldn't donate to him. He has over 100,000 subscribers...he is a success at what he does.
