Dating Sites

anyone here has had better luck recently with dating apps or discovered any new ones worth trying? I’ve noticed some big changes in how people use them now, and I’m curious if anyone’s found something that works better than the usual ones.
I've been on dating apps on and off for years and can't say I've seen much of a difference in the ones I've used. And haven't found any new ones either, so would certainly be interested to see what others can come up with!

I think my problem currently is my heart isn't really in to dating atm. I would like to meet someone but don't have any issues being on my own any more (I'd prefer this to being with someone who isn't "right"), and I think this is giving me a bit of a lazy, half baked attitude to dating apps 🤷‍♀️

I met someone after a few months of messaging and a couple of coffee dates. It takes patience, and yeah, there were some awkward ones, but worth it in the end.

I am curious about this too. Because mainly what I seem to meet on dating sites recently are married men. And usually I waste a month or two messaging and dating them before I realize they are married. It is VERY frustrating and disheartening. I am 44 years old, and I have my target age range for prospective partners set at 5-20 years older than myself (depending on the site and how they structure that setting) and I am STILL meeting a whole lot of men that are just wasting my time. Aren't we too old for that? Are there any dating sites for ONLY people that are single? Seriously curious if anyone is having any luck. Forgive my frustration but I just confirmed that the awesome guy I've been dating (and falling for) since Thanksgiving is married. There's 3 months wasted, and I'm middle aged so my remaining months are numbered, lol

I'm not personally familiar with this site, but I believe eharmony is only for single people. Although how they determine if someone's telling the truth is unknown to me.

@MrsCobraBubbles: I didn't meet my DH until I was in my 50s, so you still have time! And there are good people out there. It just takes some work to find them. I'm rooting for you. Don't give up.

I have heard a lot of good things about Hinge and Bumble, but this is from late 20 somethings but some people say the sites seem to be more interested in keeping people logged in than helping them find companionship, which would be terrible if true.

And I know some married people who still used dating sites to cheat.
Made me remember that Ashley Madison scandal and all the names outed - fantastic Netflix documentary BTW
