When you buy a seasonal or regular AP can you activate it at the resort? Does this mean that it will be on your room key or will it be that paper material?

I am trying to get a seasonal pass on my room key because I like the sturdy feel of it better. No matter how much they tell me the paper ones are sturdy, I don't like them as much! My last pass I activated at the ticket window of Epcot so it was the special coated paper.

You cannot get an AP or SAP on your room key. You will have access to the parks year round, but not that room. Do you see what I am saying. Once that room key is deactivated that is it.... you have to have them seperate. Also your SAP is not activated at the resort but one of the theme parks (or depending on where you purchase it, the place you purchase it at & you cannot purchase one at one of the resorts)

Forgot to mention, they are all the same, no matter where you get them. They all have that special coating on them. You cannot tear it completly.
