We are driving down on Jan 30 for check-in at POR on the 31st. We would like to stop overnight in Ocala or Gainesville giving us a short hop on the morning of POR check-in. Has anyone had a really positive experience (cleanliness and price) of a hotel just off I-75? I really don't want to do an..oh we'll just stop here and see what it's like since we won't be down that way until 10 or 11 at night. Any suggestions appreciated.
