Accessible pools @ DVC resorts...
I realize there are some features at a few of the DVC for wheelchair individuals such as the steps yoou can sit on and "bum" your way into the pool... and zero entry. I was just wondering if any pools (at the newer DVC's or any for that matter) have a hoist or chair lift near/beside the pools, to help inidviduals who are more affected by the'r diabilty and require transfers into the pools???

I don't believe any of the WDW resort or DVC pools have a hoist.
The last we were at was SSR earlier this month and OKW in March. We did not ask, but didn't see anything that resembled a hoist (and DD has used one when she was in middle school, so I think I would recognize the set up for one if I saw it).
SSR does have a zero entry pool. I have said in the past that the pool appeared to be only about 3.5 feet deep from what I could tell from swimming in it and trying to figure out how deep it was. I can say (after looking at the markings on the side) that it is 5 feet deep in part of the middle of the pool. But, it still appears to me that the 5 foot deep part is fairly small and most of the pool is shallow.

We have not seen a lift either. We are in discussion with WDW & DVC about this right now.
The Polynesian also has a zero entry pool. The main pool with the waterfall. They also had a "beach" WC at the pool. (But I would get confirmation on the WC being there now.)
The other quiet pool didn't have any type HA entry system the last time we were there.
We were quite disappointed to find only "transfer tier" at the Beach Club, when we were told it was HA. Steps on the side of the pool do not offer us any access.

I recently saw a picture of a hoist and I think it was at Saratoga?
We have not stayed there so don't know for sure ???
