We laugh, but I have a feeling that some people DO ask to get moved to another room for something so trivial. The reason I suspect that is on my last trip to BCV, there was dust inside the wicker chair that I couldn't reach (and I hadn't even noticed until the third day of my stay). I went out into the hall and got a mousekeeper, asking if she had something to get to those spots. Well, she looked horrified when she saw it and asked if I'd like to be moved. "Oh, no-but after I check out, could you please try to get to those spots? It might look bad to the next guest." Well, she insisted on doing it as soon as I left for the day and asked again if I'd like a different room. I kept trying to impress on her that it wasn't a big deal, but I came back that day to a spiffy clean room, bed made, and new towel animals. I got the impression that some people aren't too nice to the mousekeepers.

It's stuff like this that makes me sometimes regret buying DVC.

I mean, really, for BOTH of our June and November trips, neither the prior tenants nor mousekeeping rewound the Stacie videos. They started in the middle all the time! On every TV!

I know sarcasm isn't "allowed" on the boards but I personally LOVE it and obviously others do too! I'm glad this kind is allowed to stand.
