? about view at BCV

I just received a brochure from DVC welcoming the addition of BCV. I noticed that the points for a one BR in choice season (for example) is 24 points on a Sun- Thurs stay, but they don't have any option of standard vs. preferred views. Is BCV not giving an option of view like BWV? 24 points is what BWV charges for a prefferred view, with 18 points for a standard view. View is not a big deal to us, but being conservative with points is. We were hoping to stay at BCV this year, but if all views have the same point value, we might have to reconsider. If anyone can give me any info. on this, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

You are right, BCV will not have different "view" options. Only BWV has this and I don't think that DVC will do that again. I've heard it has been a lot of extra work to manage two different options in the same resort. BCV will be like OKW and VWL in that there will only be one point chart for all rooms.

You guessed right. There will be no difference, point-wise, between views at the BCVs. The BCV point chart is identical to BWV preferred view and identical to VWL (also no distinction point-wise w.r.t. views).

While I do not have personal experience with BWV standard view ressies, my impression from reading the posts on this board is that they "sell out" quickly. Many folks, apparently, want to economize their point usage with the standard view. Thus, they are not always readily available.
