About the Air Conditioning Units ....

I am totally with you guys on being comfortable while on vacation, sleeping in a chilled room and not worrying about such stuff while on vacation, but I can kinda see the point of not having the air blasting in the unit while gone for the day...that is...if the room does (in fact) cool quickly after returning to turn the A/C back on. That said, I would never even want to think about mf's while on vacation.

Keep in mind that the balloon trick may only work while you have the air on as the air is what is moving the balloon (I know...that was mighty profound of me to say :lmao: ) but we have had ocassions where the balloon simply does not move when the air kicks off due to the room reaching the desired temp. I would try the bypass method using the secret launch codes. ;)

Jen - I'll hit you back on your last P.M. tonight.

At Kidani right now. None of these tips seem to work on the AC here.

Just call Maintenance. We've never had a problem getting them to come out and they have told me that they would rather come out then have Guests screw up the thermostat.

What about Vero's thermostats? Do these "tricks" work there too?

Leaving for Vero on Sunday, so any help would be appreciated... although, If I don't see any replies, I'll just call maintenance! ;)

I was wondering about Kidani. I know someone asked about this on another thread, but I don't know if they got an answer. Thanks for the info.
