Perhaps the handicap issue could have been best resolved by Disney building the number of required rooms with both the handicapped shower and a bath...maybe even a jacuzzi bath!!!! Then, instead of complaining about the lower bed and shelves in that room...we'd all be jumping up and down at getting some lagniappe!!!!

ITA!!!! There are those GREAT rooms at the BWV 3123, 3123, and 4123. From what everyone says, they are HUGE!! It seems to me that if DVC had made these rooms larger with BOTH sets of accomodations, that people would not be so upest to get them. If you knew that your HA room had a jacuzzi tub, a HA shower and a regular one...and was much larger to accomodate the different needs....people might not be complaining. I can't imagine people getting upset if someone said, "Our parking is full...just park in a handicapped space." Why...because there are advantages to that. The problem with the HA rooms is that for able-bodied people, they offer less amenities, not more.

I look at it this way, the DVC member did me a favor by LETTING me rent her points. I got a studio room at OKW for WAYYYYYY less than rack rates allowing my family to stay onsite for our first trip to WDW... even with MY frugal DH! The way it worked out, we're paying less than at a VALUE resort!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that our requests will be available....but...I'm not holding my breath.. and heyyy.... the other posters are making that jacuzzi tub thing sound REALLY nice... I wonder can I add one of THOSE to my requests....
