?? about OKW to DTD boat

Does anyone know for sure what time the boat starts running from OKW to DTD? I've heard both noon and also 10:00 am. And if it starts at different times depending on the time of year, I'm interested in this month. Also, is there a time of day that's not crowded since it's only a 12 passenger boat? I've heard of some people having to wait in long lines, and other times when the boat was nearly empty. Do you think that mid-afternoon might be a good or bad time? How about going right after the boat starts (whenever that is?), like trying to be on the first boat of the day.

I took these pictures a few days ago (Oct. 29, 2002) around noon.

My experience has been that the boats are busiest from OKW in the late afternoon when people are going to dinner, and from DTD later in the evening when people are returning from dinner. (Your mileage may vary.)

Our experience has been that the boat starts at noon, but we always go during slow times. We have also found that it is busiest in the evenings, but it is also the most fun in the dark with all the lights. We usually have more of a problem getting back to OKW with the crowds. It is worth the wait if you have time. I do not think we have ever waited for more than one boat to take the trip. Good luck and have fun.

I don't ever remember the boat going before noon, but we are usually there in January or September. I also don't recall ever being on it when it was full.
