You had lousy luck. In my experience it’s closer to 5 minutes between the final pre-show and boarding the ride.

Every ride? Note to self, avoid ever going in the same time. I’ve ridden enough at all times of day to feel comfortable saying that’s the exception not the rule. Unless you have your same very bad luck. Lol

I've only gone a few times, but these were later in the day. Like the second pre-show doors opened and the second line was right there as you exited the room.

It's definitely too long. You finally get to the end of the line and have to stand still for another 15 minutes.

My 7 year old has (unprompted) determined answering Crews line: "What do you call yourselves?" with "People" gets quite the laugh.

Last time a couple other girls answered one of his "other" questions. (I think "Are you serious?" or something like that)

One time and I don't remember which exact part of the pre-show, but the timing couldn't have been more perfect.

My three experiences on different trips with GOTG have all been ILL$ because I don’t wake up at the crack of 7 to play the Virtual Queue game, but they have all generally been:

1. Walk into the room immediately before the first preshow;
2. Wait length of first preshow for it and then go in;
3. Length of 1st preshow;
4. Length of 2nd preshow;
5. About 5 minutes or so of line after the 2nd preshow till boarding. Yes there’s a line after the second preshow but it moves quickly because it empties into both sides of the track. It’s like standing in the last leg of the BTMRR line if the BTMRR line didn’t make you pick a side and instead emptied to both sides. It moves quickly.

Edit: To be fair, after the first time I knew where the exit doors for the 2nd preshow were so I tended to stand closer to them. I suppose if I was at the very end of the line that formed after the 2nd preshow my wait might have been closer to 10 minutes than 5.
