? About Getting AP's and Pkgs? for 2006/07

Still kinda new to all this and was wondering about getting an AP for our upcoming trip. ? I booked the free dining pkg already is it to late to change that to a one day ticket and buy an AP?

The reason I ask is that thinking ahead to 07 we could go again about 2 wks earlier in Sept. and use them 2x. That's the idea I think. Then what would I do about the room for 07 trip- book a room only reservation and look for an AP code or book free dining again with a one day ticket? (we should be so lucky that they'd do that again). Just trying to see if this makes sense and would it be cheaper? I've also been trying to figure out about a 10 day no exp. ticket if that might be the way to go since we will be going again.

I have about 4 weeks to decide before I need to make a final payment.
Any thoughts would be appreciated....

With the MYW plus free DDP package you can apply the value of any ticket you purchased towards an AP, (or any upgraded ticket choice...the 10 day/no expire).

I did, in fact, only purchase 1 day base w/ my MYW plus free DDP for no other reason than I wanted to shell out as little up front as possible. We will be heading directly to guest relations after check-in to apply those to our APs. APs are a very good value if you are able to get in 2 good trips (I believe with the last AP price increase, and the advent of MYW tickets it is 10 days to breakeven...???) APs work great for our family; one ticket purchase=at least 2 vacations.

So then I could change my reservation to a 1 day MYW ticket for this trip, still get free dining and then go right to guest relations and buy AP tickets for us to use this trip. We would then have this ticket plus our room key cards to carry around? They would take the price we paid for the 1 day MYW ticket off our room key card and put it towards AP's.

I need to really ck this out...it may be worth it. thanks
