I just booked the WL woods view for August 18-21. 240 per night, no discount this far in advance. I asked about the CR tower first but all they had in the tower was a room with a king bed and said I would need 2 rooms since there are 3 of us. I'm not willing to pay for 2 rooms so I booked the WL.

I'm wondering since the CR tower seems to be pretty well booked does that mean the codes for that resort will be slim or not at all?
Are these dates just very popular and should I expect crowds?

Is the third person in your room a child? I remember every room I had at the CR had a daybed, so I don't understand why you couldn't book a king room and have the third person sleep on the daybed?? :confused3

HMMM?

Yes the third person is a child, 10 yr old DD. But the CM told me I would have to book 2 rooms since there are 3 of us.

tileman, I would call back and try to get a different CM to help you out. We have stayed at the CR many times, and the rooms definitelty would be able to hold three of you! I do believe that there might be some king rooms on the 14th floor Concierge level that might not have the daybeds, but surely they would have told you they were quoting you a concierge room. I would try calling one more time.

When I checked the WDW website for your dates and your party size, it gives two choices, Magic Kingdom View for $1,287.84 (room only including tax) and Atrium Club for an additional $267.60 over that.
