Hi I noticed in the itinerary that one of the days it states "enjoy lunch on us in the park". Can I eat ANYWHERE or is this a counter service voucher? I love the look of Blue Bayou (spelling?) and not sure if my lunch voucher would work there. If it is eligble for table service or if I do want to eat there at some point on the trip, do I need to plan reservations or is the guide able to get me a same day reservation there? thanks!

It was a $20 voucher. As I understood it, it was good anywhere, counter service or table service in either park or any of the Disneyland resorts. My husband and I chose to use ours as counter service.

I am not sure if the guides can get you reservations. I would say it might be difficult to make reservations in advance because I don't know if you can be sure you will be free at that time. Our park days seemed to run until somewhere between 12:30 or 2 before we were free for the afternoon. Maybe make a reservation and then ask your guides if the time will work on your first day? That would give you time to make adjustments as needed..

Thanks that makes total sense and good advice. Was the 20.00 voucher per person or for you both?

We each got a voucher. They did have an expiration date of the next day. And you can't get change back from them. So you have spend the whole $20 at one time.

Worked great for us since we were only interested in counter service. We were able to use 1 one day and then the other one the next day. We had to pay out about $2 each day above the voucher.

We just did this trip in Feb 2015. You get a $20 voucher per person. It's definitely not worth trying to get reservations as we were not released for lunch until sometime around 12:30 and we were told we had to be back by a certain time, which was approximately an hour from the time they let us go. We opted to maximize the use of our vouchers. We used one the day they gave them to us for lunch and just paid the difference which was about $9 for a quick service lunch and then did the same thing the following day at California Adventure where the difference was again about $9. So lunches for 2 people over 2 days came out to about $18 thanks to the two vouchers.

Also, one thing to be aware of, if you are on an Adult Only excursion, like we were, there was only 1 day where we were "done" group touring early and that was the day we were at California Adventure. The full day at Disneyland we were together as a group until 4:30pm.
