Able to get a week at BLT 4.5 months out

We were having trouble nailing down our plans, so I was much later than normal calling to make reservations. I was able to get a 2 bedroom LV in mid May. I was surprised!

My guess is that two-bedroom villas have a slightly smaller demand then the other categories due to the points required to stay at BLT and the steady increase in smaller contracts. You're also not crossing any major holiday that has a school break or signficant holiday theming.

I think it's great you got a room that close to your reservation, but I am not completely surprised.

That gives me hope. I want to try 2 nghts there in October (in a 2 bedroom) so I'll be calling at 7 months to waitlist.

Interesting to hear. We want to book BLT (not home) in Oct or Nov, and we really want a 1 BR MKV. But if we can't get ANY 1BR, we realized we could get a 2BR SV for about the same number of points as the 1BR MKV. Unless we can convinve some friends or family to come down with us, we'd be "wasting" points, but at least we'd have a lot of room to ourselves. That might not be available, either, but it does give us extra flexibility with booking...
