ABD hints at a new itinerary - coming "soon"

It looks like a fun trip, but they should have chosen a hotel downtown instead of staying at Gaylord Opryland.

I stayed at the Gaylord Opryland years ago and found it to be a wonderful place. I remember having a room with an indoor balcony that overlooked a stage where someone was singing. It really is the place to stay when visiting Nashville.

It's a nice hotel, but there is very little to do in the area. The Hermitage Hotel is nicer and it's right in the middle of downtown Nashville. Or the new Omni Hotel would have been another good choice.

The Hermitage is one of my all-time favorite hotels. So civilized!

I think this is the first AbD itinerary that did not include every breakfast. For a "deluxe" tour that charges premium prices, it's a bit disappointing. How much more money would it have cost Disney to throw in breakfast every day??

I've had serious sticker shock over the "long weekends" that ABD has announced. I would never consider spending that much money for only 2-3 days (since the last day is departure). And I agree, its crazy that breakfast (and all meals for that matter) aren't included. The San Francisco trip also doesn't have breakfast included.

I wish they would introduce something in India or Japan or Portugal instead, where I can justify paying the ABD premium.

I noticed the same thing and also wondered how hard it would have been to include breakfast. Someone didn't negotiate with the hotel very well. Really, the margins can't be that thin!

Maybe Disney thought the Gaylord has more kid-friendly activities within the hotel....

I agree. I hope that all their trips are a success, so they can continue to invest in more exotic trips that interest me. However, it seems like a long shot that many people are going to be willing to drop that much money on a 3 day trip to Nashville.

India would be a hit. I think Vietnam/Laos/Cambodia is good evidence of that.

A lot of really interesting options, Mike. I know as a visitor to San Antonio, I really loved the Alamo & the Riverwalk (especially at night). But not in the summer! Sayhello

Loved the Riverwalk, but was a little disappointed to discover the Alamo really wasn't located at that exact spot! Lol

Nashville doesn't seem a place to really need a guide, but the extras they include might be worth it for a country music fan.

The present location of the Alamo is where the battle was fought. It was moved twice to current location.
