We're talking about getting together for dinner on Saturday night. So far, we have Yvette & Emiel, Nancy & family... Would anyone else be interested? We're thinking maybe around the Hollywood/Highland area since most of you won't have transportation...

Who's up for a pre-ABD trip dinner? Would 8pm be okay? We'll probably be running around until that time.

Louise & I would we game if it's within walking distance of the hotel. You are correct we won't have transportation. I guess we could take a short cab drive too if needed.

California Pizza Kitchen (casual)

The Grill at Hollywood and Highland (white table cloth but still casual - great steakhouse).

Both are right next to the hotel, no streets to cross.

So I found this last week and we started watching it last night. It's an awesome official documentary about Disneyland. You can't get it on DVD anywhere and netflix doesn't even have it. I've never seen it before and it was really great to watch.

I'm a bit reluctant to post this as I think it probably would get pulled from YouTube, but here it is anyway.

We ate at the California Pizza Kitchen last year when we were there. It's yummy and the view is cool too - especially if you can sit outside. We might go there for our early dinner on Sat.

One more week!!!!


Ugh! I woke up this morning with my throat hurting a bit. I hope it goes away. I was just sick about two weeks ago! I am still excited though!!! I am coming down on Sat. but am staying in Anaheim. I am going to sleep in as my transfer isn't until 1:00 pm! This will be the only day that whole week that I will get to sleep in. I am not an early riser. However, if I am getting up early for something good than it isn't so bad! (Like getting up at 4am to fly to WDW!)

The weather is looking good for next week! I guess I can start packing now that I know the weather forecast! Looking forward to meeting everyone on Sunday! See you soon.

Either the Grill or California Pizza Kitchen are good choices. CA Pizza Kitchen is more casual, and the Grill is more fine dining.

That is too funny:

1. I canceled my dentist appointment to get my tooth filled because I was afraid something would go wrong and I would have a toothache in LA
2. I had my hair dyed last weekend for the same reason
3. Spa day tomorrow as Saturday is my birthday, hope to be relaxed and renewed for the trip.

So I rethought my to-do list. Melissa, your line of thinking got me thinking about my visit to the dentist. My tooth actually feels fine and never hurt - I have a bit of a rant about the dentist on the community board. I canceled my appointment.

I updated the hair appointment to a nail appointment instead. Note to everyone - ignore any gray hairs you see on me

Weather looks great! We had an 80 degree day here yesterday so I was able to test run some of the spring/summer clothes! It's going to get into the 40s here this weekend. "nana nana boo boo! - I'm going to LA instead!"

I have heard that ABD usually can get a few tickets for the Jimmy Kimmel tickets on the free night in LA, my husband was interested in seeing the taping of the show as he is not a Disney Freak like I am so, I went online and signed up for tickets, just in case. I did get tickets for us and it looks as if there may still be tickets available if anyone else felt the need to go. The guests for the 18th are * Courtney Cox and * Kunal Nayyar.
