I I'm really ready for some warmer weather

Me too!!! Although it did get up to a balmy 47 here today!

It's 90 in L.A. right now! But the averages are around 70. Woot.


I plan on bringing some shorts and jeans - capris too. I'm one of those people that changes my clothes a few times a day depending on the temperature.

You are back in... Cool!!!!

I'm planning on eating light that day.... I hope... plus our goal is to be back in the park for World of Color. Dinner reservation is at 6:00PM

Still have an opening for two more. If we need more I will need to call Napa Rose... and that's no problem. I have their number in my document and cell phone.

Question - Please forgive me for my lack of tipping etiquette - I know how do tip in a restaurant, my hairdresser and my babysitter, but, how and when do we tip the adventure guides? Each day or all at the end? Cash? Do you just walk up to them and give it to them?

Right before the tour starts, a welcome package will be in the room. This includes envelopes for tips for the guides. I tipped at the end of the tour, in cash, the last time I knew I would see the guides

I can't wait to meet everyone, can't believe it's only two weeks away! Knowing firsthand how this trip is such an amazing experience...I think I'm actually more excited to go this year than I was at this time last year.

There is a farewell dinner on the last night of the Adventure.

This is when John and I chose to tip our guides as both will be in attendance.

You will see at least of of your guides at breakfast on your last morning, but there is a chance that you will not see both.

As the majority of folks leave on that last day, one of the guides is usually organizing departure schedules.

I can't wait to meet all of you. I know I don't post much, but once I get there I promise I'm in for all the action! I'm trying to do as much as I can at work during the next 2 weeks so I can ditch the blackberry and relax.

I'm hoping to have lunch at Blue Bayou on Friday April 22nd. Anyone else interested in joining me? I know many of you are having dinner that night at Napa Rose, but that doesn't interest me much. I've always wanted to eat at the Blue Bayou restaurant. Post if you'd like to join me. If you don't know now, that's fine you can decide when we get there.

See you soon... I'm not sure what Friday will bring for everyone... some will be leaving that day... After the farewell breakfast Louise & I will be switching hotels and then heading to the park or parks. I'm guessing that day will be really crowded in them. Blue Bayou is a possibility... Louise & I are considering Steakhouse 55 that evening but we are just going to wing it... maybe we will want to squeeze a few more things in at one of the parks instead...

Napa Rose is planned for Wednesday night at 6:00PM... one of the scheduled on your own times... We still have an opening for up to 2 if anyone is interested After that it just requires a call to see if we can add more to the reservation.

We will be there in two weeks!!!

In other news...
I got a cold over the weekend (the same one DD had 3 weeks ago and DH had 2 weeks ago), which is bad for this weekend, but good because odds are we'll all be perfectly healthy for our trip! With that being said, I'm going back to bed.
