Wish you were all here with us! We're having a great time in the sun, that is shining for the first time since like, I dunno, last September.

So glad you're having a wonderful time and that your husband's job has worked out so well for your family. Oh, yes, and that your ankle is OK.

It was probably grown and fermented right up the street from my house. We'll be tasting at several wineries tomorrow afternoon

Hot tubbing with a really great Cabernet (thanks, Tammie!) after a fabulous dinner with the 4 of us! Jen! It was awesome meeting you too, and I hope we can get together again really soon! You're a blast to hang out with!


I think we're sleeping in tomorrow....

Yum...I love Pinot Noir...and Cabernet...and hot tubs! Sounds wonderful! And I just made myself sound like a drunkard..which I am absolutely not.

Ladies, I sent you a PM last night so you wouldn't worry about me making it home through the rain, but it sounds like no worrying was done! Hot tub and wine? Sweet!

It was such a blast meeting all of you last night! Not much sleep for me (dog & kiddies got me up early), but the fun we had yesterday was worth it.

Looking forward to hearing about your exciting day today! Drink a glass of wine for me!

I am so glad that things did work out with this job!! When will he start?

I hope you will continue to have a brilliant time with all the other DISers!! Give them a hug from me, I would love to be there as well!!

However that ankle business does not sound good! I hope it will stay painfree and that this was just a freak occurrence.

Things are going much slower than we originally thought it would. His direct boss has been out sick all last week, so the paperwork/HR has been taking longer than normal. Looks like he will start middle of next week now. Meantime, he's been taking care of some stuff he wants to get done before he starts- shoe shopping scared1, car repairs, etc....

We are having a great time! Lots of laughter, good conversation, hot tubbing, etc... I will definitely give them hugs and hi's from you.

It is still a bit achy, and if I step just wrong, it smarts. I just need to go slower and be careful.

I won't tell my DH of you ankle experience, we have to clean our flat tonight for visitors and the story would give him a reason to decline helpning me....

We should hear ANY day on that one. Meantime, he has applied to several jobs in the fricken middle of nowhere in Nevada. Is it my lot in life to endure 14 degree winters and 112 degree summer with no Walmart within 500 miles? Really??!!

Boy I've missed lots of good news!

Glad the ladies are okay. I had to go back in 2009. Right before we left for Disney I went in for my annual. While riding Kilimanjaro I got the call I needed to come back in. Went in the day after we got back and got the okay within in few minutes. In 2010, no call back, what a relief.

Sorry about your ankle but at least it's not broken.

Wonderful news about Mike's job and even better that the was able to get a little more. DH had to take a cut in pay for a job he took in 2009 but I think in the end it has been worth it. He really like his job and the hours, much more than at any other job he has had in many a year. I do believe God takes care of us and things happen for that reason, his reason.

Sounds like school is going good. I hope things work out for the Chem class.

And best of all your having a great weekend with lots of great ladies. Have fun for me too!

Prayers for you getting the class you want. Then again maye not getting this class is God working in some mysterous way?

It did not work out to get the Chem class, so I will pick things up in the summer term. I am disappointed, but know it really is probably for the best now that I know for sure we'll be settling into the house and making the "big" move. It would be pretty tough to concentrate on this "phase" of moving back if I were consumed with magnesium and the mole.

Just had a few minutes to drop by and try to get some updates. Of course, knowing how quickly your TR zips through pages due to its popularity, I immediately went back about 5 pages to scan through for an update on your ankle. I guess I should have just read the final page first since everything I was looking for was right there in one concise update! Any way, a final CONGRATS on the job I saw you post about on FB, then found here was touch and go for a while! God is indeed good at providing for his Faithful children!

First off, Marv, I am so horribly sorry for the loss of your computer! What an awful nightmare! Glad to hear you got those pix off!

Ankle bugged me again today when I wore sandals for the first time- so still tender.

He is very good!! I am so thankful that it worked out, and certainly acted to build our faith even more!

Glad to hear the good news on your ankle. I sent you a text message for an update but I guess you are (understandably) too busy with your DISmeet! Glad you are getting around fine on it now!!!

We've been super busy with some very fun stuff!! WE'll have some great posts to share with ya'll. Lots of laughing, and some classic "7" stuff!

And in other news, I saw something about another contest. As busy as I am right now I'm not sure if that is good news or not. But you know I will be around to compete whenever I can....... not that I'm the competitive type or anything!

I need to get that contest up and going.... but been a bit distracted. But be on the lookout!

I'm glad your ankle is better. I guess that's one good thing about not being on Facebook -- I didn't even know it was injured, so now I find out about the injury and the recovery all in one shot.

Yeppers, you get the whole story all in one shot. And rarely do I post something there that I don't share here. FB is more an occassional toy, not a regular thing for me.

My kids took the POC- hopefully, they got some good pix of San Francisco. Maybe I'll share some of those. If you're lucky. But the other girls brought cameras, and we've got some very good/ funny stuff to share with you! You won't be dissappointed.

Congratulations on all the good news! I don't know many more deserving. Hopefully everything works out with that Chem class so that you can cut off some time from your schooling. I can't wait for you to get into the actual Nursing program so we can compare experiences. I finish my first year in two weeks.

Awww, you're making me mist up. We don't deserve anything more or extra, and are so thankful for all the good things that come our way.

I'm ok with taking an extra year with school. In order to even have a minute shot at getting accepted to the program, I have to get straight A's- and for me, that'll probably mean ONE class at a time anyway. It's all good.

I have now, then 8 terms to finish 6 classes. Totally doable.
