ABCs of Trip Reporting, Pt. 2-Life Can Be Crappy and Then You Move On (3/7)

Just dropping by to say Hi and Thank you Liesa, for a lovely weekend! So enjoyed spending time with Liesa and family, Camille, Cynthia and Jen! It was the Epicist DISmeet ever!:cool1:

Um.... I thought I had been keeping up with the chatter pretty well... but apparently not! :rotfl2:

Some time back, she had posted the recipe for a particularly tasty sounding bevvie. It called for a "can of vodka". But more on this later.... but needless to say, that does sound hilarious!

You are so more than welcome!! I had such a lovely, lovely time with all of you ladies- it my very large pleasure to make sure you enjoyed your time here!!

Epicest, for sure!!

We did NOT sleep in and speaking for myself, looked frightful after staying up til 2 AM. Unfortunately, the "too much fun" evidence was ummmm... very evident.

As for tasting.... you'll have to find out what actually transpired...

So that's how the toilet got clogged. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Sorry - I am laughing so hard just reading that and I have no idea what happened but I have a feeling.....:worship: to the porcelain god. :rotfl2:

:scared1::scared1::scared1: (that would be par for the course, eh?)

But do I detect an overactive imagination?? Figment been poofing in your house again?

Liessa is a master of suspense !!!!!:lmao:

Well, in this case my hands are tied; I'm held hostage to others telling the stories and/or getting photos to me. ;)

Hey Liesa, well I'm finally all caught up.

WOW!!! You got a lot accomplished on your first two days. I'm impressed. Love all the purchases around the WS, so fun

Mary, I'm anxiously awaiting the Disney magic the CM made

Can't wait to read more.

I was afraid I'd completely lost you! Glad you found your way back!

Basically, I had one day per park all on my own!! I cannot even tell you how much fun I had!!

I am getting DAY 3 photos organized even right now, so I should have an update up within the next couple of days- I'm not sure what will happen first... The DISMeet, or the start of Day 3, or....

The next contest. :rolleyes1

Ah, so much to look forward to!! Day 3, DISmeet, contest!! I don't know what I am more excitd about. :goodvibes

So, did you send all your kids to San Francisco on their own? Or did they visit relatives there?? I hope they had a good time! My aunt used to live in Vallejo in the Bay area and I visited her twice in my youth (once together with Katharina) and spent quite a few days exploring the city.

Still working on the details of the game... I think you'll like it.

The girls flew down on a non-stop by themselves, and Mike's cousin and his girlfriend met them. They treated them to a spectacular 3 days of touring and saw all kinds of sights- the bridges, Alcatraz, Chinatown, Little Italy, Jack London Park, Union Square, all that... Mikki took some seriously amazing pix, and I do want to share them too. I discovered that she really has quite an eye for getting some nice shots.

Where in the World?

It’s time to have another round of play time here in our little alphabetical world. Hopefully, this game will help you keep your Disney skills sharp- you never know when touring how much those little pieces of trivia can make a sweet shortcut for you! For most of you, this game will be super easy; the way to keep on top of this game will simply be to stay consistent and persistent. The more you play, the more points you get. It’s that easy. Really.

Here’s the deal:

I will post a picture that is found somewhere in Disney property that will be in a place that begins with the Letter of the Round. You simply tell me where you can find what I’m showing you. Some of the rounds will be open posting, some will be PM’d just to mix it up some. Now, here’s where things get even more challenging… If you can ALSO give me another word of close association that also begins with the same letter, you can get another point! Here is an example:

Where on Disney property would you see this:

The answer would be “ANIMATION ACADEMY”

For a bonus point, you could say ART, since there is all kinds of ART displayed right there. Or you could say, ANIMATORS, since there is often a Disney Animator sitting there painting or drawing. This part could have, as you can see, several correct answers, although, I’ll only take one. It can also be a bit subjective, so you may be asked to explain your answer. Just keep in mind, that it needs to be a rather close-ish association. Don’t say for example, “Ariel” because it’s next door. It’d probably be a stretch to get a point for that.

Alrighty then, your first Round FOR LETTER A is: Where in the World can this be found?

LiesasWDWPix2010108.jpg
(Hint: I'm not looking for the obvious Animal Kingdom ;))

Since this is the first round, and is actually rather easy, just post your answer(s) whited out in the thread. Good luck!!

Asia in Animal Kingdom and can also be found in a attic sleeping in the afternoon or in the air after they have arose from there sleep :)

Animal Kingdom and in particular the Maharajah Jungle Trek!

Another associated "A" word would be Asia, since that is where the MJT is located!

I think I'm gonna like this game!!!

Since it is for A I will say Animal Kingdom- in Asia

OK, I was actually looking for something a bit more specific than Animal Kingdom.

You could go with the 2nd part of Pat's and Marv's answers for your main answer, but there is a more specific something I was looking for originally. Think of the story line for this area. ;)

very cool, can't wait

Oh, thanks! Since this TR is going to go for a while, I wanted to keep it fun and interesting for me to write as well :)

Asia (Maharajah Jungle Trek Animal Kingdom)- Anandapur (Royal Forest Southeast Asia)
