Liesa - your firework pictures look great - I tried them, not great - I ended up using my movie setting on my camera - much better for me!

Cynthia! I've been gone far too long! I love how you all are wearing aubergine!

I never did finish the 2010 trip report - and of course its locked - so I very much prefer these lingering updates!

Oh, what a wonderful report, Post Host Cynthia!! LOVE all the pics - you all look so happy!! Well except for the intense moment between Liesa and the blender.

Thank you so much for all the fabulous pics - my favorite would be the rainbow pics - rainbows hold a special place in my heart, so a hug and special thanks for sharing those with us.

I DID IT!!!
I actually figured out how to upload the pictures from my camera!!! I have no earthly clue how in the world I did it, but I DID IT!!

Not the greatest picture, but a picture of the little guy who woke me up....daily....at 6:30.....in....the.....morning. It was all good, I got lots of beautiful pictures of the sunrise, what little sun we saw when I was there.

How about less blue in the tulip fields.....

I loooooove this picture, it has the fields and two of my favorite people in the world.

I HAVE to get to my exercise or I'll never get it done. The Lord is using my child to gently remind me of what I need to get done. I just emptied my closet of all the clothes I've shrunk down in size from and now I almost have nothing in my closet!! Pretty cool!!
I promise to come back and post more pics now that I figured out how in the world to get them to photobucket!! I'm so happy I figured it out!!

Great update from Posthost Cynthia! I love hearing all about your girls' weekend. And Oregon really does look so beautiful.

Actually, it was the UK Pav. because I remember some meaningless banter with the phone-picker-upper about going to the tea Shop and checking to see if they had Earl Grey. Remember that? Too funny!!

And, Liesa, that purple shirt you're wearing in the lunch shots is gorgeous, by the way.

And 7 wishes already...and only 3 days into the trip.

I really practiced a lot with my camera, and even with REAL fireworks before I left, so I was pretty confident with my camera. AND I knew to find a trashcan to stand next to to use as a tripod. Trust me, they are MUCH better than before I studied up a bit.

7 down, 13 to go... would I have ALL of them granted??

And now there are even MORE posts!!! Yikes, we really are posting maniacs. LUckily, there will be a small break now, as I have THE ball on Saturday, hiking tomorrow, Sunday hiatus, and a usually busy Monday In fact, if Cynthia wants to do replies (hint, hint) she is MORE than welcome.

I don't know if Dan is going to do any updating while gone. But keep checking, he may surprise us all.

Just the other day, we were explaining to our kids what a "blow out" was. It was kind of ironic because they were the ones who taught us....if you know what I mean.

I'm glad you got so many wishes fulfilled already!

We've had so many we lost count 20 years ago. On number one. I used cloth for the first 3, and they are just not quite as protective as the alternative. And I had horrible luck with the quick-reach-in-and-check method. YOu know that one....

More wishes coming up- maybe not RIGHT up, but up.

Here's hoping for no "blow outs" on my next trip.
Love the idea of the "wishes" . And I have to admit I have never had a Dole Whip so that will be one of my wishes.

Amen! NO blow outs allowed at Disney!

Wow so much to comment on. That field of tulips is amazingly beautiful. Both with blue and without.

The Disney dinner looks like it was a lot of fun. I bet that guy you called in the UK will always remember that phone call.

I love the pictures of MSEP going right in front of the Castle. That spot around the bend and in the corner must have been awesome.

It was a really fun idea to do an Epcot potluck, and everything turned out really yummy!

Dinner was yummy and just lovely!!!!!!!!!!! I think my sole contribution was chopping a couple of things for the salad and drinking a glass of wine. And a little bit of working helping emulsify the dressing. Which was interesting since all Liesa had was a fork (she hadn’t exactly gotten all her kitchen stuff from the other house, still in boxes I think). She might find something new and useful coming her way in the mail soon for that purpose but she’ll just have to wait and see. Thank you ladies for an amazing meal! Eric thought so too, I know he had seconds and it’s very likely he had thirds! For some reason only Tammie got pictures of dinner. I think she has more but I stole this one off of her TR. LOL

After dinner we decided it was time for something special.

This was funny - It did seem like alot of vodka when you start pouring it in the can! Liesa was all, "the whole can? Really? That much? Cynthia: "That's the recipe!"

It was really a fun dinner, with really great company! I only had a couple more from that night, besides the table shot

I brought Liesa a cup and saucer for the collection she wants to start.

Meet the Burens: (well, 4/7ths of them)

The Cup and a cup drinks were the bomb! I was wishing I could tolerate more, just to enjoy the taste, but I wanted to maintain some decorum as a house guest....

We had a really delicious breakfast in the morning - Mike and Liesa made pancakes and eggs and sausage, strawberries - YUM! The phone call to Morocco was so fun! (I think it might have been England?) It was funny how we were so sure we wanted to do it, and then when it was time to dial, we started chickening out. I remember Liesa asking the guy if he would go in the tea shop and check something for her, and then he said he had just been in there - Liesa: did he notice if there was any Earl Grey? The guy: "I suppose they do???" That's when she told him what we were up to and then handed the phone to Cynthia!
It was just so peaceful to sit in the dining room, it was hard to leave, but I had a 5 hr drive and wanted to be home when my hubby got home, so off I went. Looks like you girls and boys had so much fun after I left! I'm so glad we had our meet and it is so fun to know exactly where Liesa is when she's writing her daily life out in the DIS! It is so fun to know who all the kids are now, too!

Holy cannoli, it's a flurry of updates!

Great fireworks pics Liesa! Ah, Wishes. I just love watching! I've also been known to get a tad weepy as well. Just a teensy bit! There's something very special about that show, particularly when the little girl starts singing "starlight, star bright, first star I see tonight". So glad you were able to see them. And that your pumpkin got you safely to your resort, er, I mean castle.

I am SO stealing your wishes idea. I love that! Writing them out would be so much fun to do! Thanks for the great idea.

Don't even know where to start, so I will just say it looks like everyone, wherever they were - Disney or at Liesa's - had a wonderful time. Well, other than getting stuck in the train tracks, and having to go to bed without supper.
