has anyone used A baby's best friend and rented the toys? I'm looking into this for my 14 month old and would love to hear opinions and experiences! We've used ABBF before and loved their service, but their website doesn't give examples of the types of toys they have. I'm not really worried about the cleanliness of the toys, we've always been impressed with that. Any help would be appreciated!:D

Large Legos, big plastic trucks, electroic beeping toys.... Mostly along those lines. If you call her.... she will set up an assortment that fits your child best. Our kids look forward to the toys every trip!

Can you tell me more about this? What is their web site? Do they deliver to the resorts? This sounds like the perfect solution to our crowded suitcase dilemma.

We have rented a crib and the 2-year old toys from them for our upcoming trip in August. The site is www.abbf.com. They have photos and prices on the site. They do deliver to your resort. We were told the toys would be left at bell services, and that we would be given a claim number to pick them up. If you do a search for ABBF (A Baby's Best Friend) on this site, you will find many great reviews!

Laurabearz ~ were you really in your room that much that it was worth renting the toys? I mentioned it to DH and he didn't think it would be necessary

I'm going to order the toys with the highchair we need tonight. As far as needing the toys, our experience has been that we are in the room quite a bit and needing activities for kids to do; ie while getting ready in the AM, during afternoon rest/nap, in the evenings if we're not in the parks. I can't imagine being away for a week and not having toys for our 14 month old - it wouldn't be pretty!! Our girls are older (6 and 8) and are occupied by TV/DVDs, books and coloring books, but the baby toys would take up too much room in the bags!:D

Yes, we are in our room a lot.... with a 5,3, and 1 year old, we find down time in the room is worth it... less melt downs.

When we went to Hilton Head (DVCrs) the girls were bummed that we didnt have toys! LOL

I think the toys run 15 bucks. It is, for us, worth the 15 bucks so the kids have something to play with, esp at bedtime. Helps them wind down.
