AAAaaargghhh! Just need to vent...

I bought 3 patriotic pins at my DS on Thursday - The 3-D Mickey in front of the flag, the lenticular flag in back of mickey, and the Mickey head flag w/ the gold stars.

And now I can't find them. It's driving my nuts!!! I never even took them out of the bag! the last I remember the DS bag was inside a larger one from another store. Now it's not in there, it's not in my diaper bag, it's not in the car or the trunk - I checked 3 times. I called every store I visited sfter buying the pins, and cakled mall lost and found. Nothing. I'm even looking in stupid places like the china cabinet and the linen closet. I even looked in the pantry!

This is making me very crazy. Just had to get this off my chest.

that you find your lost pins...we all have had those annoying times of losing something that we KNOW for sure we put somewhere..here's hoping your pins are just temporarily misplaced and will show up soon!

I had the same thing happen to me yesterday with a roll of strapping tape. I was putting pins in envelopes and sealing them up. I stop for a second and I could not find the tape. I looked for nearly an hour for the stupid roll and never did find it. Frustrated, I went to the store to get another roll. While I was standing in line to pay for my purchase, some woman standing behind me handed me the roll of tape I had been looking for. So as an offer of help, you might look for your pins on the back of the shirt you were wearing when you picked them up. Just a thought...

Jeff, that is a very funny story!

It is even better than my father looking all over the house for his glasses, while he was wearing them!

C'mon Pixie dust! I was so frustrated today I didn't even go buy my pins! I didn't feel like spending another cent on pins when I'm losing them. Plus, I figure Herc will be there, somewhere around town. he's the only one I want. Maybe Goofy for my 2 y-o DD

Oh, my Dad has done that with his glasses before and my Mom won't let him forget it! I tried NOT to make fun of him 'cause I don't want that to happen to me! Here lately I'm having lots of *senior moments* and I am not amused.

Nigel bigel, the same thing happened to me. We got home from WDW, and I know I had placed 6 flag Mickey pins on my dresser with all my other pins purchased and 2 of them have disappeared. I, too have looked everywhere. Oh well, maybe they'll will turn up sometime when I need a lift or a cheering up. There goes any possible trades in the meantime though

Well I thought I had lost my camera at California Adventure way back in June as I know I had it with me and when I got home, I could not find it anywhere. I looked through all the bags that I had brought home....with all the pins in them, and nothing. Even left a message at the lost and found at DCA.....nothing.

Then, just this morning, I was looking through some of my boxes of pins and there at the bottom of one of the boxes was my camera!! I was so happy to find it!

I really have no idea how it got there, but I do have four kids, so ????

I'm having the same problem with my sunglasses. I know I had them on last Sunday and now I can't find them anywhere. We leave for Disney World on Tuesday and need them to take with me. They're prescription, so I can't just run out to the local store to pick up replacements! I've looked everywhere. I just don't know where else to look. Uggghhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!

Hey Hey Hey!

The pixie dust worked... thanx lynxstch! My DH found them in my diaper bag this morning. This isn'rta big bag, mind you, and I had gone through it THREE times, even taking some stuff out. I think he found it somewhere else and put it in my bag to tease me about it, but he swears this isn't so!

Now after all of that, watch me have a problem trading them....
