Question about dining options

We have not sailed DCL since 2018, so maybe conditions have really changed a lot in that time, but I see many comments criticizing the quality of the dining options on the ships. Genuinely curious if the quality has declined that much. We were on the Dream and we thoroughly enjoyed our experiences at the rotational restaurants (AP, EG, RP). Cabana's was also delightful and it was of better quality than your standard buffet. Admittedly, this is not a high bar, but the variety, quality, service and cleanliness at Cabanas were always outstanding. We never tried Remy or Palo so I have no point of reference, but I'm seeing some comments that these seemed to have declined in quality as well. For those who have been sailing more consistently in recent years, what are your experiences? Not looking to stake out an opinion, just putting the query out there.

My family and I have been sailing vey frequently on the various ships since 2015 (1- 2 cruises per year and we have been on all the ships) and we have not found a decline in the food quality. Food preference is also very personal as something I like someone else may not so its really up to your preferences. I would say give it a try for yourself!

I think that people are more prone to point out something that they did not like, rather than something that they did like. So, "I didn't like the Gran Marnier Souffle (no one would actually say this!) appears much more than, "Gee that Sea Bass was great!" I like everything, so my list would be too long to write. Sometimes, if something is exceptional or exceeds my expectations, I will post a picture and emotional response.. We sail at least once a year, often twice, and have not seen the quality decline (...maybe the scrambled eggs...maybe....). :confused3
