AAA rate for August?

Anyone booked a room with an AAA rate for this August? If so, what rate did you get, and for which resort? Thanks.

We have 11 nights at POR booked from 8-11 to 8-22. Room only. AAA rate

The price is +/- $1,500. comes out to +/-$136.00 per night including tax.

HOWEVER, the AP rate, when it comes out, will be cheaper. So thats what I am "hoping" for. When it does, I hope to "convert" to that rate. It will be about of $500-$550 difference based on previous years AP rates.

Another thing, I would not be surprised if sections of POR are going to start to be shuttered for rehab. With POFQ opening, I think its a matter of time. So, I am booked. If they move me...they may offer me a "deal". Thats why I booked now. I remember the last couple of times they rehabbed resorts. Back in 02, they shuttered CBR and offered guest the Poly for $10 more a night.
I am not sure what was offered when FQ was shut down.

Here is what I think will happen. I am judging this by what is currently going on.....they will come out with a D-Visa discount first...then AP and other discounts for everyone else. This should start sometime after this current offer expires on 4-17.

So, AP rate for after July 5 should be out sometime last week of April beginning of May. ( At least me and others hope so. )
