AAA questions...

I'm thinking about booking through AAA. We're staying off-site for the first seven nights, then want to be on sight for the final three nights of our honeymoon. Here are my questions:

1. If I book those three nights with AAA do I pay for it in full before I leave for the trip? This is what I would like to be able to do, and not have to worry about it when we're there.

2. Is it possible to do some kind of package so I can include park tickets? The problem I see with this is that I would need the tickets seven days before we check into the hotel. Is this possible? Has anyone tried it this way before?

3. Should I just go to my local AAA and have one of them make the reservations, or are there specific Disney AAA agents that I can call who would be more helpful?

If there's anything else I should know, too, it would be a huge help.

Oh by the way, we'll be booking for June 17-20.

I called my local AAA office and booked room with hopper passes only. For 3 adults I had to pay a $200.00 deposit and the balance due 45 days prior to departure. Not sure if that would be the same for only a 3 day stay. Just call you local AAA office or submit an online question to AAA web site for specific info. I believe all AAA agents would quote the same price. I also believe that we'll get our passes at check in.

If you want a Disney specialist try WDWVacations.com (Small World Vacations). They saved us $800.00 last year and are very helpful and knowledgable about everything Disney. I'm not sure about staying off-site but you may want to check out their web site for more info and a free price quote.
Also, check out discount information on allearsnet.com.

You really cannot get park tickets for a package and get them 7 days before hotel check in....you could stay the first 3 nights at WDW and then have the tickets for the rest of your stay....but not the other way around if you book a package (room + tickets + dining)....if you don't want dining and just want room and tickets, you can book through your local AAA travel agent and buy the tickets from them seperately...it would be the same price.

If you just book a room and buy your tickets then you do not have to pay for the room in advance if you do not want to (just a 1 night deposit is all that is required)...however if you refer to pay in full when reserving they will be more than happy to take your $$ then too!!
