AAA question

I just joined AAA and have a temporary membership number. I already have a reservation in December for the Poly and I'd like to see if I can get the AAA rate. Can I call right away or does it take time for the membership to be active?

It should be active right away. You won't have to show the card till you check in so if you have a few days before you go you will probably get your card soon.

Call and reserve right away. You don't actually have to be a member until you check in.

I booked for December with AAA and they did not give any discounts for rooms. TA from AAA was told they don't give discounts for that time of year.

I almost booked through AAA for Dec. and the rate was about $100.00 cheaper than disney web sight so i think you recived incorrect info

Disney has block out dates for room only AAA discount over Christmas holiday.

I believe the cut off for December discounts is December 18th, but I'm not positive of that date off the top of my head.

Disney does ask for the AAA number and expiration date when you book the reservation, but it's when you check in that you need to be sure to have the active membership card to show.

We booked AAA rate through CRO & never were asked AAA# - I assume theyll want the card when we check in.

Does the AAA rate apply to packages or room only? I called and the CM told me that it only applied to room only. Is this correct?
