Does anyone know if you can get a AAA discount with booking a room with the annual pass dinning plan? Thank you!!

I got a discount? I'm very confused about what I did get. I tried to figure out what my package would be if I could just get the room and dinning plan regularly (I know you can't, you have to have park tickets) and it seems like it would be the same price. It is extremely possible that I did it wrong (as math is NOT my strong point :)). Can anyone help me out to see if I actually got a discount or knows for sure that you get a discount with the annual pass? Thank you!!

It's no different from the regular dinning plans. It's just that I don't think you can get the dinning plan without booking a room and park tickets, so since we already have tickets we wouldn't be able to get the dinning plan. So now Disney lets you get the dinning plan if you have annual passes too.

OP - you sound like you have some bad information if I'm reading your posts right.

You can book a room with the dining plan if you are an Annual Passholder WITHOUT purchasing tickets. The stipulations are that the room rate must be either (1) an AP discounted rate or (2) rack rate.

If you have another type of room discount (like AAA) and want to keep that and purchase the dining plan, then you would have to buy tickets (minimum of a 1 day ticket for all in the room for a paid dining plan). Your AP would not come into play.

I booked my Disney World vacation yesterday at a AAA office and I gave the agent my dining code and was given that discount too.

dining code? Is that for an AP? Are you sure you got the AAA discount also? AAA agents can book Disney packages without the AAA discount.

Yeah, apparently I did not express myself all the way, I do it all the time! (and rereading my posts, it really doesn't make sense at all! So yeah that's my fault for the confusion! Sorry!) :upsidedow I did know you didn't have to buy tickets with the AP and still get the dinning plan. Thanks for clarifying though, cause if I didn't know I would be mighty ticked off! So I guess my next question would be, is there always a AP discount for the room or is it only a specific offer for certain dates? I'm just trying to save the most money I can! :) Thanks!

AP discounts are offered for a lot of times, but no, not ALL the time, 365 days a year.
