I believe you still have to pay for parking (about $8/day). You just get to park right next to the handicapped parking area. Of course, if you are staying at at resort, parking is always free.
Still have to pay the 9 bucks. Each park has a colored line to follow and it usually puts you near the handicap parking area, which is closer to each parks entrance. If you ask the CM when you pay and show your AAA pass, they will tell you what color line to follow. Be warned, these spaces fill up very fast as there are not many. If you arrive late morning or hop to another park, you may not be able to use it. Hope this helps.
It seemed like a long walk to me, didn't really seem worth it. It's close though. One advantage is no loading into a tram or anything (or waiting for a tram). Personal opinion I guess.
