AAA and paying.

Am I correct, that with AAA you get 20% off? Well I just let our membership lapse and I was thinking of renewing it. I already have a tripped book with Disney and have been paying it off with my disney gift card (when I have saved enough cash I put it on a disney gift card and pay that way).
Can I call disney and add the AAA membership discount or do I have to go through AAA. And if I do that can I pay for the trip with my gift card through AAA?

AAA saves anywhere from 10-20% depending on season and resort category.If you booked a pkg with disney, you would have to cancel and rebook thru AAA.Also be aware if you purchased trip insurance with your pkg, you would lose that money( they would deduct the insurance from the pkg deposit).If you have a room only ressie, you can call cro and try to see if there are any rooms left at your resort with the AAA discount.There are only so many rooms alloted per night with the aaa discount.You may then have to cancel and rebook or they may just be able to adjust it.Good luck
