AAA and free dining?

I called to request quotes from a TA well known on these sights, AAA and Disney to compare prices. They all came up with identical quotes for the same package. I booked with Disney because I feel it gives me more immediate access to my trip information.

I thought that AAA is supposed to have a 5% discount off of rates compared to Disney rates. What am I misssing?

AAA can give you a 10-20% discount, but you can't stack discounts.
So it's free dining OR the AAA discount. Can't get both.

Yes, I have noticed that too. I know that they use Disney Travel to book packages, thus the same exact price. But one has to wonder where does the discount come in? I will say that AAA offers some perks with their packages such as Storytime with Princesses and for 2012- Special fireworks viewing.

i was aware of storytime, but where do you find info on the fireworks viewing?? that may sway my decision to book on my own
