AAA 09' rate / Watch thread

I booked April 3-11, 2009 for a Value resort. Was quoted a price of $119. a night + tax = 134.47. Today I called to apply the AAA discount. Now with the discount it is 121.50 a night + tax+ 137.30 a night. Can this be right? It went up with the discount!!!!!!!!

The AAA rates were not ready this morning on the web. First the rack rates went public, then this afternoon the Magic Moments discounted rates were available.

Thank God! I'd been on pins & needles all week hoping my suspicions that today would be the day panned out...

Be sure you're comparing apples to apples...meaning, is one quote a standard room and the other preferred? Sometimes the update button doesn't always work if you make a switch...

Also...double check the resort. Pop Century is in a different county than the All Star Resorts and the total price comes out different because of the sales tax.

ok this is silly. i used to have AAA and then i just didn't renew it. i'm going to be joining again soon. do these discounts apply to everyone as long as they have a AAA memebership?
also, we'll be staying april 19th - 25th 2009 in a value resort. do you know what kind of discount i could get?

You would be a member of AAA, therefore you would be eligible for the rates. All levels of AAA membership get the same discount w/ Disney (as well as other National Partners)

Peak season discount is usually 10%. The discounted rates do sell out so be sure to book early!
