When we were there last April, there was a shuttle bus that ran around the grounds of GKTW too. Its VERY important to think about how your child is using their energy. My Daniel was just so worn out, we should have paced him better - but we were so excited that he was trying to walk more. However he wore himself out and missed the last 2 and a half days of his trip because he was exhausted and not feeling well. BUMMER!!!

Wendy, Thank you so much for posting this information for me! You are right about conserving energy! When Lisa was younger, we would have to pace her and make sure she used her W/C BEFORE she realized she needed it...otherwise it DID take days to recover! Now that she is older, she realizes that while she might be able to walk while she is feeling well, she will pay for it later. I am sorry Daniel was so exhausted the last half of his trip. I will definitely have to pace my younger three. Do you have a trip report that I have missed? I seem to be all over the place on these TR, missing many or mixing them up...

We are still trying to thaw out from our mere six inches, although dump ice on top of that and we have had some treacherous travel. I am happy you were able to post more of your trip report in between all of the playing, loving it!

I went down a few times with her before I sent her down by herself. She was bouncing around... that hill was bumpy!

Love your videos! I forgot how much fun playing in the snow used to be....now it's just cold!

It was about 27 when we were sledding but we were working up a sweat climbing up that hill! We had a blast!

Oh don't worry, I'm planning to have a blast! All of my ADR's are in order and the weather seems to be trending about 70 degrees.

I hope you get some 70's!

Gotcha about Marv. Basically what you're saying is don't hold my breath waiting for an update? Glad I won't be missing anything while I'm gone!

Cute videos, and I agree with whoever said that Mel looked fabulous even when all bundled up! Loved the sledding ones...geez, Juliana was *flying* down that hill! Made me a tad nervous, she looked like she was going to bounce right out! Nice narrative video of you going down the hill, thanks for the close-up of your boots! Man I miss sledding down hills like that! We had a giant one behind a hospital (smart, right?) that took about a year to climb and only 10 seconds to slide down! But it was so much fun. I distinctly remember barreling down the hill as a teenager and wiping out 2 little kids standing in the middle of hill! In my teenage brillancy I thought it would be better to grab hold of one of the kids to try and pull them into the sled and out of the way. Ya, that didn't work out well...instead I dragged this poor child down the hill by his ankle and had his mom scream at me when we got to the bottom. Good memories!

I wish I thought of sledding near a hospital... what a great idea!

I'm glad you didn't kill that kid you dragged down the hill. We luckily only had one minor collision.

Man, I totally thought we normally got a lot of snow in the Chicagoland area. I guess I was wrong! We haven't had a snow like you just had in about two years. But, winter's not over yet, so we'll have to see what happens.

Can't wait to hear about your night at the party.

We average about 40'' of snow a year so we get a decent amount. We get hammered about every 3-4 years. We are close to 40'' now and we still have 2 1/2 months to go.

Tim, when we were at WDW during the Year of a Million Dreams, we actually got in line at the perfect time at Spaceship Earth and got to go in through that same "secret" entrance, cool off for a little while in the lounge with free drinks, before loading onto the ride. That is really cool that you guys got to do that too! Pretty good way to experience the ride for sure, although I don't remember that colorful floor!

What an adorable dress Juliana had for the party. And that's great for her for riding TT. Wish Max was tall enough, but he's a bit on the short side. There's always the next trip! And here's hoping we get either all snow or all rain...the mix is a nighmare!

It was kind of ironic to be sledding down a huge (and I do mean HUGE) hill behind the hospital! I wonder if they had nurses on stand-by watching and waiting for one of us to break a bone!

I swear, I still can see that poor kid's wide-eyed look of horror as we smashed into him and I dragged him allllllll the way to the bottom! I was very embarrassed because I thought I was helping. Obviously his mom saw it differently, I believe there were a few curse words thrown my way by her!

Glad that Ana was able to stay put in her tube though, it looked a bit treacherous and bumpy to me!

The funny thing is, it was supposed to be the family in front of us, but they didn't speak the language and couldn't understand what the CM was asking them, so he asked us to follow him. I knew better than to turn him down after reading the DIS. He said, "Boy that family would be upset if they knew what they were missing out on!" He was right about that! It was a really hot day, so that made it even better to get a few minutes in the A/C, something cold and refreshing to drink and still getting on the ride faster than we would have!!!

Hope you and Marv are having fun here tonight....

You know, I always feel like we are behind schedule in Disney. I wish you can add like 2-3 hours in the day to fit everything in.

Brook, you HAVE to try those potatoes (if they are still there) so I can get someone else's take on them.

Chances are high I will try the potatoes. I usually LOVE potatoes-so we'll see....the only potatoes I've ever had at Disney that I didn't like were at CSR Pepper Market, they tasted like soap!

You guys got a LOT of snow! Holy smokes. We only got a few inches, the previous snow was much bigger. Great pictures! I love the igloo and the one of Mel and Juliana walking in the snow, that really shows how deep it is!

Great Epcot update too. Sorry to hear you didn't get a chance to do many things you wanted. Good reason for another trip, right? Wonderful picture in front of Epcot, you three look adorable in your MVMCP gear!

Holy Guacamole Tim, That's a lot of snow! I'll never complain about the 6 inches we get out here in Chicago again.
The Igloo is awesome, I've always wanted to build one. The sledding looked like so much fun. I haven't been sledding in so long.

Now for the Disney stuffs....
The Wish Lounge/VIP area is cool. What a neat experience that you got to go through a different entrance onto Spaceship Earth!

So glad that Juliana had fun on Test Track. What a little dare devil.

I think this is a fathers worst nightmare. Luckily you won't have to see this for a few more years.

Mariachi music is so beautiful, coincidentally goes great with a Dos Equis XX.
