A Veteran Shows a Novice the Disney Ropes: Abby and Mark's December Disney Trip

On Tuesday Dec 15, we will head over to the MK! I somehow was able to score an 8:05 Crystal Palace ADR AFTER our 90 day window opened!

In the afternoon, we will be moving over to POFQ.

That evening we have a 7:05 Citricos reservation.
I think it will time perfectly so we can walk down to the GF dock and catch the 9:30 Holiday Wishes!

Wednesday Dec 16 is going to be our 2nd day the MK. We'll tour the park and then probably head back to POFQ in the afternoon for a rest.

The evening we have a 7:20 ADR for California Grill. Wishes shows at 8pm that evening so maybe we can snag a window seat!

This will be our last full day at Disney.

We plan to go and tour Epcot Future World, breaking for lunch with a noon ADR for Coral Reef.

Again, probably take a rest in the afternoon at the resort before heading back for our 7:05 Le Cellier ADR!

Our last day.

After packing up and checking out, we have a "good bye breakfast" at 'Ohana at 10:30.
After stuffing our faces, if we feel the need, we might hit up DTD for some shopping! I'd love to try Characters in Flight!

We also are going to visit the Ikea store! I love that place! I don't need any furniture, and couldn't afford any after a week at Disney rotfl but it's a fun place to shop for little gadgets and things you didn't know you even needed.
I got my Grandma a floor lamp there 2 years ago, and she loves it and keeps asking for another. I checked, and they still carry it, so that's my justification for needing to go! And no, that lamp isn't available to ship....so I must go! Perfect Xmas gift!

If we ever get hungry after 'Ohana, Mark wants to eat at the Hard Rock Cafe at Universal's City Walk. But I'm guessing we won't be hungry again until dinner! Guess we'll be driving back to Tallahassee pretty late....but it's only 4 hours and we can split the driving duties so it shouldn't be too bad.

It is! I'm sooo excited and and feel funny cause I've done so much planning that there is nothing left to do now but wait! I finalized all our touring plans yesterday!

You know, I don't think the boys are too young for Cali Grill. I see people with kids that age in there every time I go. They generally seem well behaved and occupied - especially if you go during Wishes! They're very kid friendly there, so you and Bryan could go and enjoy good food, and theres suff that appeals to the kids - have you seen the rice crispie cereal "sushi"? What fun!

I got back in yesterday around 6pm. Mark spent the night at my house and then started his drive home at 6am.

We had a pretty wonderful trip, so I will start the TR soon!

I'm sad the trip is over, but it's nice to be back on the boards. I missed you guys!
