RECAP:
Our trip was from 12/25-28th and a total surprise for our DS!
Cast:
Me (34): Tigger - always ready to bounce
disneyholic and planner
DH (33): SLEEPY dwarf - adoring hubby who could care less if WDW vanished .
but goes cuz it makes DS and me happy!
DS (4 1/2): SPACE RANGER BUZZ - loves Mickey but gets that twinkle in his eyes when he sees Minnie
Grandpa: POOH (there's always a Rumbly in his Tumbly!) - adores his grandson, is incapable of being SPONTANIOUS!
Grandma: FAIRY GODMOTHER -
spoils grandson, laughs at Grandpa (has to or she'll lose her mind!)
ACT 2 Scene 1
Tigger and Fairy Godmother wished they personally knew Peter Pan and Tinkerbell cuz they would have love to fly to WDW and get there sooner, the 2 1/2 hour ride felt tooo long. Plus Pooh can make the natives VERY nervous when he drives.
Space Ranger wanted to turn around and go home to play with this new baseball stuff. (The hazards of leaving right after opening Xmas presents!!!)
Tigger told him to wait til he sees his surrprise and then if he still wanted to go home they would.
With the Walt Disney World sign in sight Fairy Godmother told Space Ranger that his surprise was up ahead. Space Ranger looked like a BobbleHead bouncing back and forth trying to see what it was. Space Ranger hasn't learned how to read yet but when he saw Mickey on the sign he knew where he was, Tigger thought he was going to jump out of the car right there.
Fairy Godmother asked Space Ranger if he wanted to stay at Mickey's house for 4 days or go home and play baseball. if you hadn't figured it out.... Mickey won! Everyone was staying.
ACT 2 Scene 2:
Tigger and Pooh Check in at All Star Sports - NO LINE, NO WAIT and Room was READY (and it's only 9:40am!!!) PIXIE DUST!!!
Tigger returns to the car with a present from Mickey (Tigger bought Mickey Ears, GOH badge and pressed penny book from GOAL 2 wks before arriving and wrapped them for Space Ranger).
The card is signed by "Mickey" and says that he can't wait to see him! Space Ranger was totally shocked that Mickey knew he was there and got him a gift.
Everyone unloads the car and finds the room. Backpack were already packed and PAL Mickey was already attached to a lanyard. Space Ranger didn't want to wear Mickey but Tigger was eager to have a PAL!
Off to the bus stop and over to EPCOT.
NOTE: Keep in mind that EVERY time between each scene(ride or attraction) Pooh asks 3 things
1. Where are we going now? - remember Pooh can NOT be spontanious
2. Do you know how to get there?
3. Anyone hungry? Pooh always has a rumbly in his tumbly!!
ACT 3 Scene 1
ENTER INTO EPCOT
PAL Mickey knows where they are and talks about SpaceShip Earth. Tigger has officially decided she loves PAL MICKEY!!! Too cool !!!!
EPCOT - on Christmas Day. Smiles were seen everywhere on this day, even Sleepy managed to show some excitement.
The crew arrived at EPCOT 10:45am, headed for Living Seas. NO LINE, NO WAIT!!!! Tigger loves the fish, Pooh could stay here all day as long as you brought enough food, Fairy Godmother will do whatever Space Ranger wants, Sleepy is not impressed by fish,
Sleepy thinks he can get the same effect from a goldfish bowl!
Space Ranger only wants to see Sharks.
PAL Mickey is talking again. -Love that little guy!
Tigger seems to have the most bounce in her step so she's off to get FPs for HISTA - 30 til FP. That leaves enough time for POOH to find a quick bite, Sleepy gets to sit down and take a cigarette break and Space Ranger eats his first of many bags of Cheetos.
Now over to HISTA - the crew loves 3-D shows and for Pooh other than eating sitting to enjoy a show is a favorite.
Then onto FIGMENT. Tigger saw Figment for the 1 st time almost 20 yrs ago and loves that Purple Dragon. She was hoping Space Ranger would love him as much....well, he did! Figment was a hit! The wait was about 10 min., if that! PIXIE DUST GALORE!

Rumbly in their Tumblies!!!!
The crew heads to The Land to eat. The wait for a table/food was the longest they would wait all weekend!!!!
A table was found, food was eaten and off to Universe of Energy.
See NOTE ABOVE (where? how? hungry?)- yes even though they just ate Pooh would eat again.
ACT 3 Scene 3
Universe of Energy - no one has seen this revised reversion and Space Ranger was very excited to see the dinosaurs.
More pixie dust cuz the wait is only 10 min!!!
Space Ranger loves this ride and is proud of himself for not being scared.
Space Ranger is asking to see Mickey, Tigger knows it will be hard but promises that they will find him tonight when they light the tree.

Wonders of Life - BODY WARS!!!!! Wait time 10 minutes!!!
Space Ranger loved this one - half way through he yelled...
YEEEHAW!!!!!- Spacr Ranger giggled through the entire ride.
By the end of the ride Tigger was feeling woosy, sort of lost a bit of her bounce - that's when she decided Mission: Space was NOT going to happen.
Pooh and Fairy Godmother never been on Body Wars, they loved it but they enjoyed Space Rangers reaction the most-YEEEHAW
Now onto Cranium Command - another NO WAIT!!!!
Space Ranger is not impressed, likes rides better than shows unless the show has dinosaurs,sharks, or is in 3-D.

Walk by MS and TT to see the wait time or if FP are still available.
The crew found out why their wait time has been 10 min or less throughout Future World...cuz EVERYONE at EPCOT was at those 2 rides. NO FPs and wait time was over 100 MINUTES! Better luck next time, the crew isn't waiting. Besides, how could Pooh find enough food in the area to keep him happy for 100 min?

SpaceShip Earth - another favorite of Pooh's. Wait is less than 10 min again!!!!!
This is where Sleepy lets Tigger know that WDW could vanish and he'd be okay with it! OH MY gosh, thought Tigger, don't say that out loud, the WDW Police would hear you and make you leave!!!
Tigger felt like she was hyperventilating by then just the concept of no more WDW could make anyone queesy. Okay she found her composure and decided to ignore that ridiculous statement. Honestly how could anyone really feel that way! She'd figure out a way to change Sleepy's opinion.
ACT 3 Scene 6
5:50pm and in 10 min EPCOT lights it's tree. Tigger gets a bouncing cuz it's time to see MICKEY!!!!!
Space Ranger hears this and is now bouncing too,
Sleepy starts to bounce (oh, but he didn't care if WDW vanished???ummmm)
and Fairy Godmother laughs at Space Ranger's bounce
and Pooh is excited cuz after the tree lighting it's dinner time - can you hear the rumbly in his tumbly? No??? No one else could either. But you gotta love Pooh!
There are only about 60 other people waiting so Space Ranger gets really close!!!!
Space Ranger was very excited to see all the characters and got that twinkle in his eye when he saw Minnie.
Just about this time 2 children a bit older & taller than SR(space ranger) push through and squeeze between the crew and stand right in front of SR. Tigger is a bit shocked, considering even bouncing on their parents for bringing up such RUDE young'ens when a nice older gentleman next to SR taps the children and tells them that they are blocking SR and they need to move, they do and SR can see everything. Those children should thank that gentleman cuz Tigger was about to bounce!
This shows is now a new favorite for the crew - especially Tigger who caught SLeepy smiling more than once! Good thing WDW didn't vanish before the tree lighting.

ACT 3 Scene 7
The crew takes the boat over to Germany then over to American Adventure for hamburgers- wait time for food and table...15 min. Can you just see the PIXIE DUST in the air?!!. Now the crew get the last boat back to Showcase Plaza and finds the perfect bench to sit and watch Illuminations near the water. It's only 8:10pm and SR will not just sit til 9:30 for the show, neither will Tigger. So Pooh and FG(fairy godmother)stay behind and Sleepy, Tigger and SR go for a Monorail Ride - EPCOT to TTC back to EPCOT.
Back in plenty of time for Illuminations - this is THE night show that POOH wanted to see. In fact, Pooh would give up food just to make sure he saw it. He wasn't disappointed - it was cold that night but the Christmas Spirit (and the fire on the water in the beginning of the show)kept them warm.

The escape from EPCOT - it only took about 15 min. to get to the resort buses with a 5 min. wait there. By 11:15pm we were all in bed and Sleepy THOUGHT he'd get some sleep....little did he know....
