Hello everyone!

Finally got a moment to come and say hi. Maybe sometime this week I can go back and do a little catch up to see what everyone's been up to, but don't have much time for it at the moment.

Hope everyone is doing well! First night was a little touch and go, but over all not too bad! Just need to figure out how to get a little more sleep! I think I have maybe had 8 hours since we had the little guy on Saturday.

Hi everyone!!

I am nearing the end of my vacation and time at Disneyland! Ive had a great time!

I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas for anything out of the ordinary to do? I've done most rides at least once....

Did you get a ride in the Lilly Belle? The wheelhouse of the Mark Twain? 2 of my favorite things I've done.

Me so happy. Vancouver just got killed in game 7. Boston (my second favorite team thanks to my dad) wins the Stanley Cup. Awesomeness.

I have not done either of those. I finally remembered to ask about the Lilly belle today but I was too late. I plan to do that tomorrow first thing... I rode the Mark Twain this trip for the first time. I will have to see if I can do the wheel house tomorrow as well. And wow.. I typed that walking from small world to fantasyland lol.

I've sat lots of places and watch the world go by but not from NOS. No to pirates lair... I honestly don't think my feet could handle traipsing on the island lol. I rode the SS Columbia today.

There is this little window back by the back of New Orleans Square where you can get Mint Juleps and other frozen drinks. They sell the fritters too. I like to go there and get my snack and sit in New Orleans Square and watch all of the foot traffic that goes by. There is a lot that goes through there too.


Another place I like to sit is on the bottom level of the Hungry Hunter. The traffic on the Rivers of America and the ducks are fun to watch. Plus the shade is really nice.

Ooh, the Mint Julep Bar!! I could live off of those while I'm at Disneyland. Easily my favorite "treat" while I'm there. My mouth waters just thinking about them. My family all hates them though, lol. But I'm the only one I know who likes mint really.

Definitely try both today! But keep in mind that the Lilly Belle gets very warm (no AC in there, just cracked windows) especially on a hot day. But it's so worth it. The wheelhouse is just plain old fun. I loved ringing the bell and sounding the whistle. Only I was horrible at it and slurred everything together

Honestly, Pirates Lair is something I wont go back and do again. It's not really my cup of tea and once I've wandered around and 'seen it' I'm done. I just need to get over there one more time for a bathroom sign photo that's all.

Oh, man. I just realized that all California residents can now do payment plans on their AP's.

Seriously that was the best news! I saw it on MousePlanet's twitter the other day. We have to buy APs in July and the thought of buying 3 at once was Being able to make a deposit and pay for them every month without interest rocks I know the price increase sucks, but oh well. I still think it's one of the best entertainment deals out there.

Agreed! They still aren't anywhere close to being a deal breaker for me. But I also don't have to plan trips with family to think about. I can see how that could really hurt. But I still consider the price worth it. Nothing comes close to Disney! Now, in a perfect world, I'd be making a little more to coincide with the price increases, but what can you do?

Wow, yes I did. I would be so embarrassed if I called Vancouver home. Just wow.

I got a call from my dad last night. He had to reminisce about how he was like ... 4 when the Bruins last won the SC and I think they were living in Boston at the time. He's stoked. I was really, really hoping for a SJ/BOS but oh well. If the Sharks didn't win it all I couldn't be happier with the Bruins taking it.

So the polygraph was super weird. The guy was cool, but the whole process was freaky. And you're all strapped up and they make you answer the questions twice. But I passed Continued for this job process, I am so close yet so far! Today I have fingerprinting at the sheriff's office, and tomorrow I have an interview with a background investigator (like a private detective). They'll take the information I give them and basically check out my life, pull reports, talk to my friends. It takes 6 weeks or so before you hear anything

The stuff in Vancouver last night was crazy! That is exactly why I didn't think they deserved to win. Their fans are ridiculous! And so is half their team. It's so sad what they did. Makes it look like their effort in making the city look great for the Olympics seem like just a show now. Why would you destroy your city over a hockey game?

Hope everyone is having a good day! Going to attempt a trip to Walmart today with the kiddo. Should be a job in itself!

You know what I never understand is they are ruining their home. So they have no more pride than that in where they live.
