So there you have my schedule for the next 3 weeks!

It's great that you know your schedule so far out.

I use the calendar on my iPhone. My regular schedule I have in there as repeating so I dont have to keep putting it in there and then I put in when I agree to work for people so I don't forget.

I suppose that can do the trick! Then again, I somehow remember my schedule and other than Fridays and my overnight it's never really that consistent. We need to find a day to do lunch or something though

I haven't really checked in lately... I have been busy with work and went to a Britney concert a few nights ago and met her!!! If I have you on FB you might have seen the picture. She has been my most favorite since I was in 5th grade so it was a big deal for me. My two favorite things are Disney and Britney! Two total opposites kinda (innocent Disney, not so innocent Britney ) but I guess they balance out
& my friend invited me to another Britney show tonight! Of course I had to say yes. It's in San Jose. I know we have a few people here that live in that area
Anyways, now I gotta catch up on everything! Have a great weekend!

I'm plain just not online as much as I used to be. Trying to remember to do other things on occasion, lol. But if I'm on and nobody's posted anything I don't always stay on for long. It is wierd how quiet we've been lately. Just busy with life I suppose, huh?

Hello! It has been quiet. I've been working since I got back and been really tired when I get home so not getting a lot accomplished.

I was going to send my laptop in today so I can get it back by the weekend but I am thinking I will wait till Thursday afternoon to send it in. That way they will get it Friday. Fix it Friday or Monday and I should have it by Tuesday. Since I work Thursday night - Tuesday morning that will allow me to use it on my days off!

Does anyone know of a site that I can upload photos to and my friend can then download them to her computer and vice versa? Most places it looks like you can upload and share but not download once uploaded.

Yes I agree, it has been quiet lately. June has been a busy month for me! I can't believe it's already the 20th!! I really need to start finalizing my resume, but I just feel like it's an assignment and I am so over school!
And, I guess all employees of food/beverage facilities in California have to have a food handler certification card by July 1 in order to keep working. It's some two hour online class thing and you have to pay to take it. Ugh.....another 'assignment' for me!

Last night my wireless mouse I use on my laptop broke And I have only had it a little over a year at the most. I am so not used to using the touch pad thing on the laptop, I keep trying to reach for the mouse and nothing is there!

Paula, this website lets you upload files, that you can then send the link to someone else to download them. I use it for music all the time but you can upload images, documents, etc. I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for.

Paula, I'm pretty sure that Flickr lets you download other peoples original files based upon what they have their settings on. I've done it in the past, mind you this was quite some time ago. I can go back through my options to check for you if you'd like. Jillian's idea is a good one as well, but I'm thinking you're looking for one place to put them so you can also use them in your TR and such.

Tania, that's exactly what I've been doing. Mostly scrolling through FB on my phone. It's just too warm for me to sit with my laptop for any given period of time.

I am going in search of a lot of ice!! Too bad I can't go to Alaska for it right now. I would willingly settle for Mt Shasta or Mt Lassen too. That would be long enough for my vans air conditioning to kick in. I don't hate the heat but I am feeling sick because of it right now.

I want some of your heat! Its been raining so much here, that I have barely been able to go for a walk with Seth. We did a 15 minute walk last night, that's it!

So, I just read an article about some lady that tried to take Kinder Surprise Eggs across the border to the US and got fined $300. I guess I better do my research before I continue to send random candy over the border! lol. They says it's because that kids can potentially swallow the toy that's inside the chocolate egg....there is a big plastic container that the toy is in...how does a kid swallow that??? Crazyness!

I don't know, I asked my friend who's family owns a restaurant and she said only her dad needs to take it (the owner). So I have no idea why baristas who don't even handle the main dangerous things (raw meat, eggs....we don't even cook anything!) have to take it while the waitresses and cooks at my friends restaurant don't need too.
I guess it depends on the company and how they wanna handle it. Some companies may just require the manager/owner to do it and others might require the whole staff. Either way it's a waste of time to me!
I always laugh at these new requirements. So a month ago it was ok for me to serve you a drink but suddenly after July 1st it's a no no unless i have some certification.
I do understand that it's for everyone's safety, but I mean I have been there for over 4 years, I am pretty sure I know how to properly handle food items.

It kinda goes along with what Andrea was saying, about those egg things being illegal here but not over there. So they aren't worried about kids choking over there but here they are? Certain rules/regulations are so strange sometimes.

Anyways, enough of my complaining!

Jillian, that whole license thing sounds a little silly. Especially if you've been working there so long. At the same time, I can see why they would want it done. Just seems like a silly process.

So, the sun is finally shining today! I might actually be able to take Seth outside! It's supposed to be really warm too, so I am hoping we can go for a nice walk.
