A Two Short, Too Different Spring Break Trip (Time to Say Goodbye)

Somehow I knew you would end up with Pooh and Piglet for Brooklynn! I love listening to that band and watching them interact with the crowd! Does Brooklynn have a stuffed Dumbo pal? If not I think she needs one.:goodvibes

Good luck with the luggage shopping, if you ask BD or Shocker they will tell you that Hefty works just fine to tote your stuff in........;)

Good luck with luggage shopping! :goodvibes

I didn't ride Winnie the Pooh this past trip but I plan too in September. I miss the pooh gang!

Memom, I have said it before and I will say it again: your pictures always make me feel as though I am touring around right along with you! I love it!

wow--reading about your spring break trip is making me excited to read about your next trip where you'll have all your girls with you:cool1:

Awww that Pooh and Piglet stuffed toy is adorable, I bet Brooklynn loved it!!!
And those onesies are adorable...I think I might get a few when I'm down there for a couple of friends who are expecting.

Have fun luggage shopping!!!

Great pictures MeMom. I love Disney music, especially being in WDW listening to this Disney music. :) Did you find luggage? We need a new set badly! Any sales anywhere?

I haven't stopped over here for a couple days and I find 2 updates :cutie:

The move it shake it parade looks so cute! I'm also glad I'm not the only one who wondered about Mr Incredible's beads!

I'm so glad you got Brooklynn the pooh and piglet! That is adorable.

(sorry I'm a little behind but CanadianWDWfan, sorry to hear about your trip )

We haven't eaten at Pinocchio's since 2004 -- I need to remember it for the next trip -- the pizzas and salads look really tasty!

I love the pictures. Like a PP said, it makes me feel like I am right there. I hope you are doing well.

We saw part of the Move It, Shake It parade on our early MK day in February but didn't stay to watch it. It looks really cute!

CanadianWDWFan, sorry you had to cancel. I'm glad your kids took it so well. I know you said that February is no good till after Valentine's day, but if you do end up going then, you have to let me know because my mom's working on booking a trip for February again. :goodvibes

We should have ate there, my girls would have loved it, since that is the big movie in my house! Plus it looks good!

The Pooh shop had cute stuff.... and we saw that band last week, saying that makes me sad!

I think Mop 3.0 needs that center onsie. I love starting Disney shopping lists before I even have a trip planned.

I can imagine that time in Fantasyland involved had a lot of your thoughts drifting back to the part of the group that was missing. There's nothing like being in Fantasyland with a preschooler!

I definitely think she needs that onesie. I bought it for Isabella in November and she happens to be wearing it to school today!

She does have a Dumbo.

Drew would be happy to throw his stuff in a plastic bag, most likely. I did get him a ten dollar duffle/duffel bag, though, so he's all set for what little he'll take.

Which one is right, anyway - duffel or duffle? Some places list them as el and some list them as le.

After looking at prices, I just decided to stick with what I already have.

That's the good thing about multiple trips - whatever you didn't do last time, just put it on a new list.

Memom, I have said it before and I will say it again: your pictures always make me feel as though I am touring around right along with you! I love it!

I'm glad. Got any requests for places you'd like to tour with us on this trip?

My mind is already racing ahead to next spring, though. I wonder if we could do an all girl spring trip?

She liked Pooh and Piglet, but not as much as her Nemo CD and her Minnie dress. Those were the biggest hits.

The onesies would be awesome gifts!

I found luggage. I just didn't find anything I cared to give up money for. I'm just copping out and sticking with what I've got. Trent was planning to buy a decent one for himself, so we'll just go with that. I'll take the old stuff, he can have a nicer new one (that he pays for) and Drew just gets a simple bag for what little he will need.

I look forward to Fantasyland again with little ones. It is much more fun. :goodvibes

Too bad there wasn't an Eeyore one. I would have gotten that one.

Maybe you shouldn't show your boys Mr. Incredible wearing beads.
He might lose some of his incredibleness in their eyes.

Yep - start the list for next time!
That's New Year's Eve....right???? ;)

I love the pictures. Like a PP said, it makes me feel like I am right there. I hope you are doing well.

Glad you like the pictures. We are doing well.
Are you all settled in your new place?

That would be cool if you guys could cross paths!

Yes, it is withdrawal week for you guys. Back to life without music in the air and other people fixing your meals and cleaning up the mess.

I always feel like the trip is really totally and completely over when you can't say 'this time last week' any more. At that time, it really truly is time to let go of it and get back into real life.

And plan for the next trip. ;)

I definitely think she needs that onesie. I bought it for Isabella in November and she happens to be wearing it to school today!

I bet she was a cutie pie, too.
I will be there to kiss all over her sweet little head bright and early Thursday morning. :cutie:

I started to comment that the green Pooh onesie would have been cute for my nephew. That was before I noticed the shirring at the neck and arms.
Ironically, it wouldn't be his first onesie with shirred sleeves. All I can say is that my SIL grabs instead of shops.

All your photos are great, but I can especially almost smell the honey scent in the Pooh store pics!pooh:

I wish! :goodvibes I am still hoping Santa pulls through...:rolleyes1

You never know about that jolly fellow. Sometimes he brings everything you want, and sometimes he makes you wait. :santa:

WHAT? :lmao:

MeMom, according to Vera Bradley, it's duffel....

Alrighty! Duffel it is.
I do the same thing with theatre and theater. All my life I have written it as theatre, like in ye olde English, I guess, but I see it more often as theater.

I suppose I should just be a good Clampett and say movin' picture show. :)

I liked the green one, too. I could have spent much, much money on little girl stuff, but I limited myself in a big way. I got them one outfit each.

Won't be long now until we'll be riding those hunny pots again! pooh:

***********************************

Duty calls, so I have to go to a workshop today. I'm sure it will be thrilling. :upsidedow It's about a new and improved way to educate, I'm sure. For the last fifteen years they have rolled out new and improved versions and put hundreds and thousands of dollars into books, training, and supplies. I can't say that any of them have worked yet. Sadly, for the most part, kids just don't care, at least in our system. There's just an overall air of apathy and doing just enough to get by. I hope changing grades gives me a fresher look on things. Maybe without the TCAP stress, I can focus more on teaching and enjoy the students more and less on 'hurry up and finish and let's get on to the next tested skill'.

I will make a few Disney dollars, today, so that's an incentive. :thumbsup2

To start my day out right, I have to stay in Fantasyland for another few minutes.

This CM was being pixie dusted.

I'm not sure what that was about. Maybe she was new or did something exciting or something. Some of you may have some more insight into this that you can share.

And the last one for this morning, a pretty dress that changes colors.

disney3-18-09MK226.jpg

Stitch is sitting on the counter looking rather bored with all the dresses and jewelry surrounding him. I'm sure he would much rather be in another kind of store.
Preferably something with some guy stuff! :stitch2:

Have a good day, everyone!
I will get through it a little better knowing I am going to Alabama tomorrow! :yay:

Looking at all those cute princess dresses makes me wish that Chelsea still wore them. :( I remember one year when she was about three, she was Cinderella for Halloween and wore that dress whenever she could for the next year.

Have fun at the workshop -- making Disney dollars is always a good incentive! :thumbsup2

OOH....have a good day at your conference! Right as soon as work got out for us I was at an ESOL conference for 4 days....I was glad when it was over! YAY for heading to Alabama!!

Awww...I really like that overworked Mickey Clock that would be so cute on my desk at work. I will have to keep an eye out for it when I'm down there this fall.

Awww after Belle's I think I really do love Snow White's princess dress the best for little girls!!!
