The stepsister party is a cute idea, but I totally think I would be on to the water parties too.. I wonder what Brooklynn had in mind with the stepsisters. Hope she gets to meet them, they are fun to see.
Who knows what she had in mind? She's crazy, but she comes by it honestly, I'm afraid!
Thanks for the great shots of T-Rex! I'm sure DS will LOVE it there.
And yes, since I am still doing my regular teaching gig, I will need to pace myself
Oh yeah, I bet Declan will like it. They have a nice gift shop, too. It was nice to see things geared for little boys besides the Pirates stuff. A bunch of them had Build-a-Dino boxes.
Grab two friends and come on down, no make that up, and give us a show!
I'm so used to saying down, since we're so far south, but then I remembered we do have a few friends that are even further south than we are.
MeMom, thanks for the DTD stroll. All of those stores are on my hit list.
Brooklyn is so adorable.

Have fun planning her party. Maybe Nemo had a stepmother you could incorporate.
Now there's an idea.
I like to go to DTD at night when it's cooler and the lights are on everywhere.
Tren-D looks like Troub-L
I better not go in there for fear of maxing out my credit cards!
Luckily, I do more window shopping and picture shooting than purchasing.
Awww, I understand now.....how could sweet Brooklynn like such a nasty lady? Unless it's a Cinderella party she is really after.
All of her choices are super fun and I know both of you ladies will do it up in grand Disney fashion!
What will she choose? Can't wait to see.....under the sea......
The Nemo gift shop could possibly make a decent sale when we're there, if that's what she decides. Or the Little Mermaid gift shop - that open one around the corner. Or the Polynesian - they had some very cute Lilo and Stitch stuff that we didn't buy last time we looked. Who knows? You can be assured someone will benefit from her decision.
A stepmother party.

I guess you could let Brooklynn and her friends sweep and dust.
I enjoyed the DTD pictures. I really would like to spend more time there one day. I want to check out the make your own T-shirt place. That sounds like a lot of fun.
You could spend many hours in DTD if you checked out each shop for even a short time.
Okay, you've just been put in charge of games.
Do you do goodie bags, too?
Those little hand brooms would be nice additions to those, and maybe some Windex wipes. Yeah, these kids are gonna love a party like this!
How did I miss this? My Snow White radar must have been malfunctioning....Oh well, I can console myself with the pjs I splurged on at Tren-D - I justified the purchase by the fact that they were Jungle Book and really, really soft!
BrooklynnsMommy - I can identify with Brooklynn's "different" party themes. My poor Mom had to do everything from a Rainbow Brite party to a pirate party when I was her age. The Rainbow Brite party was just after she was popular, so it was hard to find decorations, etc. The pirate party was in the mid-90s WAY before that was very popular, so Mom made up all the games and hand made most of the decorations. She groans every time we go in Party City and we see the plethora of pirate supplies.
Judging by the pics of your other parties, I know whatever Brooklynn chooses will turn out to be a huge/adorable success!
You take me back in time with the Rainbow Brite stuff.
Starlight, Rainbow Brite,
A little kiss in the moonlight.
Sunbeams, sparkle and shine,
You'll always be a friend of mine!
Or something close to that anyway.
I need to get back over to Tren-D, there is a cute little dress type shirtsy thing that needs me to try it on!
How old was Brooklynn in the photos at AK? We will have our first trip with Harper in Dec. and she will be 17 months.....
Brooklynn's first trip was at less than a year old. It's fun to look back at the pictures and see how she has grown.
I hope the TrenD dress works for you!
Tren D looks like a fun store to just wander in and wish for things. Dimitri is going to love the
Lego store! I am so excited to bring him there. I've been thinking about taking the kiddos to T-Rex for a meal but I'm not too sure. Good idea or not such a good idea MeMom?
I probably can't give you an educated answer on this. It has been pretty crowded when I've seen it, so you would want to allow for a couple of hours of time. I haven't heard marvelous reviews about the food, but I'm sure it's pretty much like Rainforest. If you wanted to get out cheaper, you could eat counter service and then just spend time at T-Rex in the gift shop, seeing the dinos in the front area, because there are several, and maybe making a dino friend to take home. I am sure we'll eat there eventually, but since we don't have little boys in the mix, it's not anything that is pressing.
Tren-D looks awesome! I must stop there on our next trip. Between that, Basin, and World of Disney, I could do some real damage to my credit card and bank account.
My mom and I didn't get to the T-Rex restaurant or Build-A-Dino, even though I really wanted to build one.

The restaurant looks really cool. I did see some kids walking around with the boxes from Build-A-Dino and they were super cute -- there were holes for the head and tail to stick out.
I love Brooklynn's idea for a birthday theme. Whatever it ends up being, I can't wait to see what you come up with!
Disney tends to have a reputation for that damaging the credit card thing!
thats a great idea! Is it sad that i have bought a lot of things for Calebs 1st birthday party already

and he won;t be one until Sept 25th??

I just keep on finding items that fits my baby animal theme and well i have to buy them before I can;t remember where i found them or are not available anymore....and the BEST part...all on clearance or at the dollar tree (so far anyways) Course my mom said just to
not forget where I placed them in my house...which i could do just that!
I have probably done that a time or two!
