A Two Short, Too Different Spring Break Trip (Time to Say Goodbye)

Hey MeMom just caught up with your trip and Jill, Brooklynn and Bella. I love all the photos of your trip. I wish I had a trip in the works.( Maybe October for my 45th birthday) I wanted to take time to thank you for the time you put into your reports for us all to enjoy. Ty is sick and has been at Lebonheur in Memphis since Friday in the hospital. He's better and at home comfortable so I had time to catch up on you and your family and it is a great stress reliever thank you!

Jill you and John are the bestest parents ever. Disney and a waterslide how cool is that. Your girls are very lucky. I love all your updates of the girls

Sorry to hear about Ty! We'll keep him and all of you in our thoughts and prayers. It's so hard to see one so little be so sick, especially because you can't explain to them why they have to be in a strange place with strange people poking all over them. Keep us posted, please.

October is beautiful in Disney World. It's still pretty warm, but the fall decorations are awesome!

I can't wait to see Jammin Jungle Parade! That is another parade that I haven't seen. Thanks for the pics of the make a t-shirt shop! It looks like another fun place to get souvies!!
Brooklyn's slide looks like every little kids summer time dream!

The parade is different because of the novelty of the huge puppets. I like to watch the faces of the CMs operating them. They really get into it.

Wow, I love all the pics today.... gotta get done because your trip will be here before you know it!

Manatee years... now that is something new!

That's what Jill is telling me - gotta move on; a new trip awaits! :cool1:

Eeyore is cute just normally, dressed up he's ADORABLE! :cutie: I love the little red nose.

Jill, the slide looks like a complete blast. What a fun party that will be! And score on the deal!! :thumbsup2

Ya, we probably do. I always try to pack in too much and then stuff just comes off the schedule as we go. I haven't really put anything in concrete yet either, I just started dabbling in touring plans. We are staying 6 nights.

I thought Eeyore's costume was just so clever and cute. The whole parade was great! Everyone should do MNSSHP once. I'm not a Halloweeen person, and I loved it, so if you enjoy all the Halloween stuff anyway, you'll really love this!

By the December trip, Henry will have enough know-how to be a Disney tour guide!

loved the AKL pics! ray's never been there. we've just never made it by there in past trips. but i plan on eating at boma next time so he will see it then!

that flatbread looks interesting. did she like it?

I had a bite of the flatbread, and it was okay. She said it was better with the green stuff on it, but I didn't have that.

I hope the first day of summer school goes well Memom! :goodvibes:

Thanks. For whatever reason, I couldn't fall asleep until after two this morning, so I'll probably yawn my way through the first day.

Summer school just runs until lunch time, which is good, because I have got to make myself come home and work on this grad course for a little while most every day.

I went through a Flamingo and Manatee phase. I almost bought a Manatee stuffed animal down in Disney this week then I realized it was a webkinz and decided to pass. :lmao:

I'll chime in on MNSSHP too. It's fabulous! In fact, I like Hallowishes even more than Wishes. :rolleyes1

You'll have to lay all your purchases out on the table, take a picture, and show us what all you bought for yourself and others. We love to see Disney merchandise, you know!

Brooklynn and Cayley are only a few weeks apart. Brooklynn will be 3 on August 16th.

i knew brooklyn was close in age to my newphew but i was thinking she was older for some reason...they are 11 days apart. My newphew will be 3 Aug 5.

:dance3::dance3: Let's All Join In The Celebration...Do The Next Month Dance!!! :dance3::dance3:

Wheww, I need a rest after all that dancing!!! :)

Thanks for the thoughts on MNSSHP and the pics too, you have all twisted my arm....:lmao:
I know it would be awesome!
It's a great opportunity to see it, I thought I would only ever get to see it in pics.

It's on 3x while I'm there, so I hope we can go one of those days.
I'm just waiting for Sept. park hours to show up. :sad2: Didn't I just go through this last month...:rotfl:

Lady Lallie I would love to see all your WDW loot!!! :lovestruc

Memom has been busy with updates! I had a lot to catch up on. I loved your pictures. AKL looks nice, but I have always wanted to stay at the Wilderness Lodge or the Boardwalk. Wishful thinking.

Jill thanks for the interpretation of the video. Very cute. We went to see UP this weekend too. We also thought it was great. I was surprised how good it was, I couldn't imagine what the story would be like. I love the slide. It looks like so much fun. I am glad Brooklynn liked it.

I managed to catch up on everything! Daddy has just taken Toby out for a walk to settle him for a nap so thought I would do some DISing!

We got some good news for our 2011 trip the other day, my sister and her family are coming! They weren't originally as she thought her youngest would be too young to enjoy it (he'll be nearly 4yrs) but she doesn't feel like she can wait any longer so they are in too! We're going to rent a villa for a 4-week period over summer but hubby, Toby and I will only go for 2-3 weeks and we are going to save and spend 1 week in the GF!

Its my 30th birthday in August and I have asked about a short trip to Disneyland Paris so I will keep you posted on developments!!!

Yay for next month. I am going through big withdrawls right now so am looking forward to another TR!!

Brooklynn is sleeping hard right now. The waterslide is a great nap inducer. We had friends from church over. I picked her up early from school and told her they were on the way to the house and she was out the door in a flash. By the time I got the slide set up, Brooklynn covered in sunscreen and her swimsuit on they were here. They played nonstop for two hours while me and the other two moms sat and talked and snacked and supervised. Bella was in her swing in the shade and just watching all that fun put her to sleep. If any of you head our way over the summer we'll set up the slide for some fun!!!

Sounds like a great afternoon, I remember times like that when my girls were little! Something about that water makes for really good napping! Chatting with friends while snacking and supervising is also good fun.:goodvibes

A toy that wears them out and puts them right to sleep -- worth every penny you spent and more!!! :thumbsup2

We've started talking about her birthday party theme. Jill has narrowed it down to Little Mermaid and Nemo. I'm partial to Nemo, since there will be girls and boys at the party, and because of that sweet 'Go Epcot. Ride Nemo!' voice mail that I still have.

Either way, the new waterslide will be the center of activity at that event!

Good morning all. Today is June 1st and you know what that means...

We go to Disney World next month!

You act like you haven't been in six months!

Hurray for Disney next month!!! party:

Yep.
All the way at the end of next month, but still next month.

:dance3: Let's All Join In The Celebration...Do The Next Month Dance!!!

I don't think you'll be disappointed at all in the Halloween party.

Disney next month!!!!

I have eight weeks to find some more money around this place.
Going to look under the couch cushions now.

I'm glad your sister's family is going! The big family trips are so much fun!
Of course, I especially can't wait for you to take Toby for the first time. It will be more magical than ever!

Yay for next month. I am going through big withdrawls right now so am looking forward to another TR!!

Some days, I am so busy that I barely think about Disney, but other days, I wake up thinking of the lucky people who are waking up down there ready to start a fun-filled day.

1::cool1:

Yea for next month!

And yay for you for this month!

Aw Eeyore is so cute dressed up!

Ain't he, though?

I'd like to have a little version of him looking like that to add to my collection, but I don't think there is such a thing.

:dance3: :cheer2:: :banana: :yay:

Woohoo for Disney next month!

You had so much dancing go on I had to delete some of it to be able to post! :rotfl:

Sounds like a great afternoon, I remember times like that when my girls were little! Something about that water makes for really good napping! Chatting with friends while snacking and supervising is also good fun.

Water activities = good hard sleeps. I remember those days well!

It's Florida hot up here in Tennessee today. How is it at the glorious Beach Club Resort?

A toy that wears them out and puts them right to sleep -- worth every penny you spent and more!!!

Jill said they've already gotten their money's worth out of it with all the fun they've had at their two get-togethers.

Sounds like you guys had a fun afternoon! :thumbsup2

Better than teaching summer school and working on a grad course, that's for sure!

If no one minds...i'm gonna dance a little slower.:cool1: I don't think I can dance for two months straight.:woohoo:

Just wanted to let you know that I am still here reading. I haven't had much time to write but I am still folowing along. Brooklynn and my dd have the same birthday but my dd will be 4 instead of 3.

YAY for going to Disney World NEXT MONTH!!! :cool1:

Brooklynn's slide sounds like so much fun! Would it be weird if my husband and I got one of those for ourselves? :rotfl:
